This is really coming together now and cannot wait to see it finished. I love the slow, calm process you are demonstrating for us. I am enjoying this so much and I have to say that the week seems to go on forever waiting for the next instalment. Also am excited to see the next piece and your commencement and development process. I am jealous of you living in the Lake District. Originally from England (born in Grimsby), lived in Yorkshire where I got married, and then we immediately migrated to Australia. Whilst I appreciate the warmer climate there is nothing as refreshing as taking a walk on a crisp sunny cold morning in the UK. Happy creative year and thank you for your very inspiring videos! I don't plan every project in general but my worry is that I have so many of them in mind with different fabrics, wool and silk that sometimes I get lost...I still have a lot to learn...I enjoy playing around like a little child, but sometimes I forget everything around me and spread myself all over the house ....I'm a bit of a mess and it's hard for me to stick to a single project....I am just full of ideas! I am awaiting next week to see your next work !!!! have nice days until then!

Happy New Year Emma. This piece is spectacular. I love the colors and of course the textures. The branches really fill the space and the falling leaves are magical. I went to school and earned a BS in interior design with a minor in art. What I enjoyed best was space planning. I plan in my head and when it goes to paper, it can quickly change, I’ve been playing with abstract art lately that is not planned out and created intuitively like your beautiful work. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished piece.
there's just so much joy to be had isn't there Teresa, whether you plan or don't, we are so lucky to get creative. I love that you're playing with abstracts, so much fun! How fab that you could do interior design and art together, it all goes hand in hand x

Your colors are spectacular! Question- when you go to the charity shops to find materials, do you typically buy clothing and cut it up or linens,curtains etc..?
Hi Jodeen, thank you! mainly I buy clothes, you get such a great range of fabrics, sometimes bigger things if I like the fabric. x
