i always heard you arent supposed to cohabitate most reptiles. Are children's pythons an exception? or were there multiple in the cage just for the breeding season? Otherwise, congrats on the eggs!
A harem is necessary in many cases. A male can get two girls going. With a lot of species of reptiles, mostly lizards 2.1 entices the females to be receptive. It is a risk to the breeder in those circumstances, though, as we were to be invigorated and have progress, boys can go too hard for dominance
It would be really cool to see how you set up your tank for this species. I just recently got a young male Children's Python, and I've been wondering what the appropriate bioactive setup would look like for this species, especially considering that they're originally from Australia
We do have a video on our page that shows the process we took to upgrade their enclosure and it goes over the components we utilized. Hopefully that will help give you an idea. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/9uDAzzns7ZU/v-deo.html
Now thats cool congrats josh!!!!
Thank you! I am excited to go through the journey and watch them hatch.
Do you have to wash off the egg smell from the snakes or clean out the enclosure after taking the eggs?

We are housing them together for breeding purposes, one male and the rest are females.
