Good to see you back on your Nightwish journey. Haven’t seen you in awhile. You are a lovely reactor. This is one of my favorites. Not too “hard”, but heavy and “dirty”, especially the second half. The lyrics to this one are quite deep, inspired by Walt Whitman’s poem of the same name, a inward existential examination of one’s self and how one fits into the grand scheme of things, and open to interpretation. It feels like Floor summons fire at her command in this performance. She is the best! Hope to see you do more Nightwish. There’s so much more to discover! The song has an atmospheric, calm and extent outro with spoken lines, which was left away in order to keep the attention of all visitors of the festival on a high level. Nonetheless that "overtime" is worth to listen for any fancier of Nightwish music.
There are versions of this same song and performance on YT where the song is followed by a poem in spoken word. It features several different voice actors. The poem is fairly long but it is worth listening to. Touching, sad, thought provoking, inspirational and puzzling.

They do have a cult following though who will show up for a reaction. The SoapGirls “Bad Bitch” official music video. They’re two crazy (really crazy) sisters from South Africa who play guitar and bass. They have a male drummer, and their music is basically melodic punk rock. They’re really good. BAND-MAID and LOVEBITES are five piece bands made up of all women, while Wagakki Band and Unlucky Morpheus each have two female members. BAND-MAID is hard rock, Wagakki Band is a blend of Japanese folk, rock, and a bit of metal, LOVEBITES is heavy metal, and Unlucky Morpheus is, in their own words, "technical melodic speed metal." There's also Asterism, an instrumental power trio where the virtuoso guitarist is a young lady who just turned 19, and Babymetal, a unique group where a highly-skilled band backs three young women who mix intricate choreography with various genres. I have yet to find a bad song from any of those six groups, but if you do pick one for a reaction video, try to find a live video that's not a compilation.

Good to see you back on your Nightwish journey. Haven’t seen you in awhile. You are a lovely reactor. This is one of my favorites. Not too “hard”, but heavy and “dirty”, especially the second half. The lyrics to this one are quite deep, inspired by Walt Whitman’s poem of the same name, a inward existential examination of one’s self and how one fits into the grand scheme of things, and open to interpretation.
It feels like Floor summons fire at her command in this performance. She is the best!

The song has an atmospheric, calm and extent outro with spoken lines, which was left away in order to keep the attention of all visitors of the festival on a high level. Nonetheless that "overtime" is worth to listen for any fancier of Nightwish music.

It’s also patently obvious to me that you have yet to learn of the other phenomenal symphonic metal band that’s a bit heavier overall in Epica and their female lead front in the fantastic Simone Simons who is a BFF with Floor by the way.
Yeah NW is considered symphonic metal, but they’re definitely one of a unique kind. Its like a musical evolution never seen before 🤟🏼🤟🏼

Hi Sky! Nice to see you again! I like "Song of myself" very much, Wacken '13 is my favorite show, you could look all songs from that show. Maybe you could look if you have time in an reaction the Show opener from this show, the song "Dark chest of Wonders" from Wacken '13, it's a great show opener! After Nightwish i like Epica most, i like her lead singer Simone Simons very much, she and Floor are good friends and they did some songs together, maybe you see somdays a song, "Epica - Sancta Terra" maybe. The last Epica show i see, their "Omega Alive" show, is a real masterpiece of them! They did such a great job! The whole show was amazing and maybe you could look the song "Kingdom of Heaven Part 3" from the "Epica - Omega Alive" show they did last year. I'm 100% sure you would like it!

I have a request for you, but it won’t get many thumbs up because they’re very underground. They do have a cult following though who will show up for a reaction. The SoapGirls “Bad Bitch” official music video. They’re two crazy (really crazy) sisters from South Africa who play guitar and bass. They have a male drummer, and their music is basically melodic punk rock. They’re really good. I guarantee they’ll show up for the reaction too.

If you want to see more badass women, I'd recommend taking the channel to Japan. BAND-MAID and LOVEBITES are five piece bands made up of all women, while Wagakki Band and Unlucky Morpheus each have two female members. BAND-MAID is hard rock, Wagakki Band is a blend of Japanese folk, rock, and a bit of metal, LOVEBITES is heavy metal, and Unlucky Morpheus is, in their own words, "technical melodic speed metal." There's also Asterism, an instrumental power trio where the virtuoso guitarist is a young lady who just turned 19, and Babymetal, a unique group where a highly-skilled band backs three young women who mix intricate choreography with various genres. I have yet to find a bad song from any of those six groups, but if you do pick one for a reaction video, try to find a live video that's not a compilation.
