@ryan oh God a british thoosie who overrates all their coasters, here to say their coasters are the best yet thinking Oblivion, Shockwave, and Stealth are great
Flucht von Novgorod is the first launch coaster i have ridden and also the first large "adult" coaster. So good memories. I have now visited several parks in Germany and Sweden and it is still in my top 3 alongside Kärnan and Helix. I only wish it had lap bars, I am 6 ft and my shoulders get crushed every time, but I accept that for the amazing experience
I haven't traveled Europe as extensively as you, but did get to go to Germany last month and experience some of their amazing Gerstlauers. After the trip, my top five for them would be 1. Schwur des Karnan, 2. Monster, 3. Karacho, 4. Flucht von Novgorod, 5. HangTime. I also really liked a couple of the Gerstlauer Bobsleds over there (favorite being Van Helsing's Factory) and would probably put those ahead of most of the other Eurofighters I've done.
love that you put the soundtrack of Schwur des Kärnan in the backround. It is one of my favourite soundtrack. One of the parts was also playing in the tower but than they switch it to the preshow with the king talking. Liked it more with the music because it was getting more and more intense until it suddenly stoped and than you droped down.
Now there's also a new one in Norway, Oslo, at the park "Tusenfryd" called "Storm", it's Europe's first-ever Inverted Triple Launch Coaster. Have yet to actually ride it, will do it in August. Very excited
Little mistake: The city where Gerstlauer comes from is called 'Münsterhausen'. The same city where Anton Schwarzkopf came from. Hubert Gerstlauer was an employee from Schwarzkopf.
I'd heard complaining about Mystery Mine being rough, and it has a couple of jerky spots, but was impressed by the OTSRs, they're maybe the best of them. Of course also remember those vertical lifts vs. pockets.
Unfortunately, I have never been on gerstlauer. Live in FL and have been on every coaster in the state. Have been to Cedar Point and Fiesta TX as well. Really wish we would get one of their coasters here in Fl. They look like a blast.
Great video as always! I was really curious to see how you'd rank the Gerstlauers I've ridden as well and I think I'd mostly agree... Although there's one mistake that I noticed: Gerstlauer is actually located in Münsterhausen in southern Germany, whereas you showed a small village named Mündershausen, about 230 miles further north... just a tiny difference, but I was immediately suspicious about the small size of the village shown on screen :D
Boringly for a Brit my favourite is obviously The Smiler, I like Saw: The Ride but man is it rough? Weirdly I don’t mind the OTSRs on The Smiler, with the constant changes of direction they stop you from constantly bumping into the person next to you and (the last time I rode it , which was 2019) there was little to no headbanging.
The smilers over the shoulder restraint isn't that bothersome, and its may favourite gerstlauer, even above Karnan... Although that's an unpopular thought
Depends on where you want to go. I highly recommend West Germany, Netherlands and Belgium since it is all very close and you have really good Parks there (Phantasialand, Walibi holland/belgium, Efteling, Bobbejaanland, Moviepark Germany, Toverland, Plopsaland) North Germany and denmark is also packed with Good Parks (Hansapark, Heidepark, all of Denmarks..) ...and going more South in Germany you have Holidaypark (home to Expedition GeForce), tripsdrill and Europapark. I really recommend taking all of those in, and then go to either sweden, poland or maybe france/spain once their new Intamin launch coasters are ope
Looks like a good list. The Smiler and Icon (by Mach Rides) are my two favourite coasters in the U.K. Icon may be better out of context, (since Helix in Sweden) is better but there is nothing like The Smiler. So I wonder how The Smiler would stack up to this list. But Hansa Park in Germany is a bucket list place for me to visit.
Wasn't cannibal recently found out that it was also manufactured by Gerstlauer? Ik it was custom built by the park but gerstlauer also had some part to it
You got lucky with your Shellraiser ride because my most recent ride in September was rough, wait scratch that, Every single coaster at American Dream is rough as shit. I have a pretty high roughness tolerance but I had a pretty bad headache at the end of my day.
Dare Devil Dive at SFOG was extremely disappointing with its trim/not quite holding break on the drop. If this ranks this high on the list then that is alarming. Not a lot of good coasters here
Gerstlauer is going to be one of the Top manufacturers in a few years along with Vekoma and Mack, Gerstlauer is gonna blow up one day...
For me, it already is
@ryan oh God a british thoosie who overrates all their coasters, here to say their coasters are the best yet thinking Oblivion, Shockwave, and Stealth are great
@ryan any RMC is better than Smiler
@@thecoasterconnoisseur spotted the rmc famboy
@ryan the smiler is the most crazy coaster in the world! 😂 I came off feeling ill which i never am. It’s amazing but not really re-ridable

Yes, I totally agree! The Gerstlauer Bobsleds are awesome and Van Helsing is so exception.
Smiler?
Great list! I think you'll love The Smiler once you get around to riding it if you haven't already.
You don't know how long I've been waiting for this video haha
🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I feel like saw the ride has amazing theming, the indoor section is terrifying but I love it

Nice video! I’ve always been a fan of Gerstlauer. Kärnan, Junker, and Monster all seem like great coasters. Plus Gerstlauer’s LSMs are super punchy.
Wait until you ride Junker. That´s my second favorite Gerstlauer and it is actually really intense and super out of control!
I’m sure Junker would rank very high. It looks wild.
When I was at #3 I was under the impression you didn't conduct a proper research, but then I was very pleased to hear about #1 and #2!
Great video as always! I might be going to Hansa Park and Plopsaland De Panne with my very best friend and her family next year.
I also never had an issue with roughness on TMNT Shellraiser. Really fun coaster.
Me neither. I think it’s great.
Thats exactly the Video i‘ve been waiting for and you nailed it very very good ranking would love to See videos Like that in the future 👍
Nice video I've never rode a gerstluer and I'm curious to see how they ride
Awesome list! My favorite in the US is Hangtime but I still have yet to ride Monster
Monster is far better! It actually has hangtime unlike hangtime
I have only ridden Dare Devil Dive. Super underrated ride!
The smiler is insane - it doesn’t look that fast but being on it is a whole different level
PoVs cant show the real speed of a coaster very well...look at Kärnans PoV...it looks quite slow but trust me, this coaster is stupidly fast.
Now there's also a new one in Norway, Oslo, at the park "Tusenfryd" called "Storm", it's Europe's first-ever Inverted Triple Launch Coaster. Have yet to actually ride it, will do it in August. Very excited
Fun list. I hope you got to see Monster lit up at night.
Little mistake: The city where Gerstlauer comes from is called 'Münsterhausen'. The same city where Anton Schwarzkopf came from. Hubert Gerstlauer was an employee from Schwarzkopf.
If you ever get any time I would heavily suggest comes to the uk for gerstlauer rides like the smiler and saw which have amazing layouts and theming
One day 🤞🏻
Totally dig Kärnan. Demented is the word. One of the sharp banks gave me a huge neck ache, but other than that, it’s just wow. A grey out machine
I live in the near of the Hansapark. I love Kärnan and Fluch von Novgorod and also Fury.
I'd heard complaining about Mystery Mine being rough, and it has a couple of jerky spots, but was impressed by the OTSRs, they're maybe the best of them.
Of course also remember those vertical lifts vs. pockets.
Great list right when you said Der Schartz Karnan I thought of the soundtrack 🤣
Hangtime is a great Gerstlauer but can run rough on some points of the ride
Hangtime is fun, but it gets old. not as memorable as a lot of the rides ranked higher.
The smiler is my favourite coaster behind f.l.y and ride to happiness. I wonder where you would've ranked it
The Smiler is my favourite rollercoaster, period. You should definitely get on this thing at some point!
If u ever get here to the UK man saw at thorpe speed the ride at oak wood and smiler would all be high on the list
Unfortunately, I have never been on gerstlauer. Live in FL and have been on every coaster in the state. Have been to Cedar Point and Fiesta TX as well. Really wish we would get one of their coasters here in Fl. They look like a blast.

That would explain the comically small size 😅
Monster is absolutely worth a long trip to ride! 💚
I got to say my fav gerstauer coaster of all time in my opinion is TMNT Shell razor at The American dream mall
The smiler I just Spiiiiiiiiiiin
My favorite is Dare Devil Dive at Six Flags Over Georgia. Saying that I just realized I haven't ridden very many of their rides.
Takabisha at Japans Fuji Q Highland is another great example for awesome Gerstlauer rides!

I don’t know why I love Gerstlauer so much 🙃
Wasn't cannibal recently found out that it was also manufactured by Gerstlauer? Ik it was custom built by the park but gerstlauer also had some part to it
It looks very Gerstlauer-ish at least :D
Similar to how the Beast is in-House but also sort of a Dinn ride?
No, that’s ART Engineering.
have ridden Typhoon, Fury, Karacho and Gsengte Sau
my fav of them would be Karacho for sure
You got lucky with your Shellraiser ride because my most recent ride in September was rough, wait scratch that, Every single coaster at American Dream is rough as shit. I have a pretty high roughness tolerance but I had a pretty bad headache at the end of my day.
Yeah, I had a huge rattle on Shellraiser.
I rode all 5 last month and I didn’t think it was too bad. just rattly but not inherently rough.
Maybe it's where you sit. I have a back issue and took some advice to sit in the middle of the back row. I didn't have a problem, really.
Man, Fury looks so cool
Can you travel to the Netherlands another time to go back to the Efteling?
I’d love to. Efteling is one of my favorites ❤
@@CoasterDash I actually have gone there 7 times this year, Just because i live in the Netherlands
Karnan - that ride is a movie. 5 out of 5 stars on the Meltzer scale
Damn that hill on Monster missed a chance on to bieng a zero-g stall.
Honestly the smiler is actually mental, its easily one of the most intense coasters ever made. Also we have SAW in the uk.
The Smiler is a dizzying blur
Can you make a video like: Rating every coaster in the Netherlands?
Soon!
Im begging you to ride the smiler, then remake this list
Flucht von Novgorod has one of the best roller coaster queues in the world (if you include the exit).
Hansapark is my Homepark
Lucky you! 🇩🇪
Oh to have the money to play with. 👍🏽💯🔥
Ur not gonna spoil anything about the last element of Kärnan huh 😉
Kärnan not only being the most insane Gerstlauer, but also themed immersively to a monarch and their kingdom:
"Long live the King"
Ok but can we also appreciate this insane 25 minute masterpiece of a Soundtrack HOLY SHIT.
A unique list that I think would be great is your top coasters that don't have any inversions.
Flucht von Novgorod and Kärnan BOTH have inversions...
In my opinion Gerstlauer is one of the best Manufactures
Gerstlauer has the best LSM launches
I'm actually pretty surprised that Fury made it so high on the list
Gerstlaur is the reborn schwartzkopf
Hubert Gerstlauer was an employee from Anton Schwarzkopf in the early 80ies.
Fury is bonkers
Especially backwards 😆
Without watching the Video i know Kärnan is on top
hi
Hi!
Ride to happiness?
That is a Mack Rides coaster :)
Nice list.. Nice work but talk slower.. So Hyper man.. :/
Dare Devil Dive at SFOG was extremely disappointing with its trim/not quite holding break on the drop. If this ranks this high on the list then that is alarming. Not a lot of good coasters here
People have different preferences 🤷🏻♂️
stop pronouncing lynet so wrong 😭
Oops. How is it pronounced?
@@CoasterDash I think it's close to Luna! But any Danes feel free to correct me. I was pronouncing it lynette like the name when I was there...
@@emmawilliams16 As a german, i would pronounce it "Lünätt" but would also like to know the correct pronounciation from one of our neighbours.
