Hi coaster dash I’m from England and I love riding rollercoasters I’ve only been to Thorpe park and Alton towers and my top three are hyperia nemesis and smiler
Can’t lie this gets me so much more excited for your top 100! Some shockers on here, especially how ‘low’ Voltron was, that fact Hyperia was above it, and how freaking high Taiga was!
For me batman is my favourite coaster in Europe, the unexpected airtime from the weird elements left me so happy and i could ride it all day long ,a close second is zadra
My top 30 30: Troy 29: Fønix 28: Blue fire 27: Wildfire 26: Abyssus 25: The big one 24: Zeus 23: El toro 22:Colossus 21:Fluch Von Novgorod 20: Formula 19: Balder 18: Untamed 17: Saw the ride 16: Nemesis Reborn 14: Batman Gotham city the escape 13: Icon 12: Helix 11: Toutatis 10: Taiga 9: Hyperia 8: Expidition Gforce 7: Hyperion 6: Zadra 5: F.L.Y 4: Ride to happiness 3: Voltron 2: Taron 1: Schwur des karnan
Was getting worried when Kondaa didnt show up around the 10's so im happy to see my third favorite ride in your top 4 :D us Belgians really got lucky in 2021 with Kondaa and Ride to Happiness
My top 10: 10: Oziris. Nice invert, pretty strong positives and nice theming. 9: The Smiler. This ride surprised me in how fun it is. It can be a bit painful for the restraints. 8: Katun. The best inverted coaster I've ever done and arguably the best in the world. I don't know why people put Nemesis ahead of it. 7: Balder. The best wooden coaster I've ever done. It's not overly fast (as is wodan), it's not a speed machine but an airtime machine. It can be a bit repetitive though. 6: Kondaa. Amazing airtime machine and very fast. I'm missing some inversions but it's very enjoyable. 5: Hyperia. It's a pity that is so short because it would have deserved a top 5 in Europe. It can be rough on the strong positives. But the drop and the outerbank are amazing. 4: Voltron. Now let me explain. It is a coaster that deserves to be in my top 3 if I sit in a middle seat. But not only because it's less rough than lateral, but also because it's less "messy", the elements are very tight and taken maybe too fast, so if you combine the rapid succession of the elements with amplified G forces on the outer seats, for me it becomes less enjoyable. I prefer something where I can take time to enjoy every single element with a more "armonic" experience. Btw, the layout and the theming are absolutely brilliant. 3: Taron. It's controversial because many people think it's overrated but for me it's just so good. Not too much, not a "wow" layout, but very balanced forces with a stunning ambiance. Love the launches of course. 2: Toutatis. Everything about this coaster is perfect, except the top hat with those trims. Very balanced, not too intense, the airtime is not repetitive and the swing launch is one of the best elements I've ever tried. I don't know why people don't give it too much credit. 1: Ride to happiness. This is and will forever be my favorite, beloved coaster. I can see why people don't like it, but everything about it is just a dream come true. The elements, the layout that isn't overly intense, I like something that's extreme but enjoyable, I like the sense of freedom and when it feels like you're flying, like you're flipping in the sky and it feels insane, unnatural and armonic at the same time, an out of control sensation that doesn't "want to kill you". (I know my opinion is pretty much the opposite to most of the enthusiasts, where the more brutal and messy a ride is, the better it is). Without mentioning the music and the theming. Just no words. It's always a mix of laughing and crying of joy on the brake run. Can't get any better than this ❤️
@Coastermatics but the theming on Katun is amazing too. Yes it's not done at its best, but the atmosphere and the area are just stunning and give you good vibes. I must admit that Nemesis' theme is stunning too, very well done, but it's still in the "dark" mode that many coasters have. Katun for me is more majestic just looking at it, the imposing loop and the giant drop that can be seen from all over the park, plus the sensations I have on Katun are 10x stronger than the ones I had on Nemesis.
From France here, didn't experienced as much ad you did but here's my take on the coasters in this list that I've done Tonnerre 2 Zeus: funny how french hates this coaster but americans love it, I think it's just good but it's getting worse with time and the backward seat being removed sucks Mahuka: excellent coaster, number 2 in France for me too Wodan: great pacing but that's all, don't get the hype for it, let's just say that's not my type of coaster Taron: still one of my biggest surprises of any coaster because I thought I'll find it overrated but wasn't the case at all, almost perfect just the end of the first part could've been better Shambhala: difficult to make a better B&M hyper, even tho I prefer more low to the ground coasters, this one is one of the best in his category FLY: a work of art, no other words Red Force: I can understand the love you have for it but again not my type of ride, too short and even rattly sometimes Untamed: did it at nights during halloween event, just unbelievable, would place it even higher Hyperia: was closed during my visit Toutatis: frustrating trim but everything else is incredible, glad I've got such a banger near my home Kondaa: the beginning sequence is unbeliavable and overall, it has some of the best airtimes out there, I just find the NICR and the final overwhelming Ride To Happiness: you've said it all, absolute perfection My top 10 european coasters: 10 Fenix 9 Goliath 8 Mahuka 7 Shambhala 6 Kondaa 5 Taron 4 FLY 3 Toutatis 2 Untamed 1 RTH
Been on 13 of your top 30 with plans in 2025 to get 9 additional. 12 of the 13 are in my top 50 overall with only Tonnerre 2 Zeus not making it. 1. Ride to happiness (overall #1) 2. Zadra (#2) 3. Voltron (#5) 4. Untamed (#8) 5. Toutatis (#10) 6. Taron (#11) 7. Kondaa (#12) 8. Hyperion (#16) 9. Expedition GeForce (#22) 10. Lech Coaster (#25) 11. FLY (#36) 12. Wodan (#41)

Nice list I live in the uk 🇬🇧 and haven’t ridden many coasters in general (hyperia next year !!) but here’s my top 10: 10. Avengers assemble flight force - Underrated for sure 9. Sik - Those barrel rolls 😵💫 8. Rita - Punchy coaster with a great launch 7. Nemesis inferno - Intense invert 6. Icon - Fun Mack launch with great hangtime and good airtime 5. Wickerman - Great theming, full package 4. The Smiler - Each inversion feels unique and very intense 3. Nemesis reborn - Low to the ground, intense and amazing theming 2. Stealth - That launch and top hat 1. Kondaa - The airtime is phenomenal, favourite coaster by far
Hey from one of your afore-mentioned European fans of the channel! I was assuming there wouldn’t be any Alton Towers here and hey, at least Nemmy made it to 30th haha! I live very near Alton Towers so I’m pleased to see it appear at least. My faves in Europe are: 5. Kondaa 4. Nemmy Reborn 3. Helix 2. Taron 1. Ride To Happiness I loved your European series this year and I can’t wait to see when you head over to italy! Ps I’m really pleased to see Balder in here, I actually adore it. It’s just so fun.
Honestly i haven't really been able to ride any coasters in Europe outside of England yet but in the UK and for me so far the world as i have been to universal Florida i can definitely say that my favourite rollercoaster is hyperia all of the elements are crazy but the main reason it is still my favourite it the first drop there is no feeling like it and one other cool thing for me personally is that i only live half an hour drive from thorpe park as well perfect. Ps next year I'm going to try and go to Germany and maybe a couple of other countries to get on more coasters
I'm from Italy (We are waiting for you lol!) and this is my current top 5: 1) Voltron (But if they don't fix the rattle, I think I'm gonna move it one or two spots down) 2) Taron 3) Toutatis 4) Wodan (I'm obsessed with its pacing) 5) Mahuka I found Expedition GeForce to be a bit overrated, I prefer coasters with more variety, but if you love ejector airtime, then it's the perfect ride lol. Also, ISpeed has the hard ots from Intamin, so expect some slight neck-chopping on the fast transitions...

(Tripsdrill, Holiday Park, Heide Park (2008), Hansa park (2002), Taunus Wunderland (in the 90s, I don't remember the Year, Phantasialand (2011), Europa Park, Walibi Holland, Port Aventura, Parque Warner Madrid, Parque de Atracciones Madrid, Energylandia and some travelling Coaster. I don't count the Coasters from Heide Park and Phantasialand in this List because it's too long ago since I ride them. May Top 30 are: 1. Expedition Ge Force 2. Zadra 3. Batman Gotham City Escape 4. Voltron 5. Abyssus 6. Untamed 7. Superman (Parque Warner) 8. Shabmhala 9. Goliath (Walibi Holland) 10. Red Force 11. Wodan 12. Hyperion 13. Furius Baco 14. Dragon Khan 15. Karacho 16. StuntFall 17. Still wild that such an internationally respected coaster (Taiga) is basically right outside my door. Before it was built I would've never expected anything like that in Finland but here we are, year from year Taiga stays in the top 5s of people's Europe ranks, it's insane. But also I'm signing on to Kärnan fanclub duty.
I guess my Taste of coasters isn't that different from yours, here is my top 10 (Ive not ridden Taiga and Hyperia yet) 10: Hyperion 9: Kärnan 8: Untamed 7: Wildfire 6: Kondaa 5: Toutatis 4: Batman GCE 3: Zadra 2: Voltron 1: RTH
For me Voltron is the best coaster in Germany but I have ridden it in the winter season and it's quite smooth now. It also has a train with special winter wheels and that train absolutely hauls through that layout
Hello from Singapore! Your no 1 and 2 are the same as mine, even though ive only ridden about 150 coasters worldwide. Great list and I enjoy your videos. And yes, Volton is too rattly to be ranked higher.
Very good coaster ranking overall. I just think Tonnerre 2 Zeus shouldn't even be in the top 50 in Europe and I'm french, it's just rattly and shaky as hell ! I'd also put Taron way above Fly, even though Fly has an amazing and super immersive universe with an incredible theming. Fly was too much of a family coaster for me plus it was too long, I mean it was never ending and I found it a bit nauseous while flying at the back row so not a huge fan of it despite all the efforts. Mahuka was a very good suprise honestly, I'd not event think before riding it, that it would make my top 20 easily ! What a gem by Intamin. Voltron was my favourite ride of the year even though it was jerking a bit in some parts of the layout but overall a masterclass by Mack Rides. And, very happy to see Kondaa very high in your list as it's a very criticized Intamin coaster for me and very underrated. I'd rank it as well above Toutatis! B&M is still my N1 manufacturer above Intamin but I have to admit that Mack is doing so good recently and I'm looking forward to ride other Mack coasters all over the world in 2025 ! Cant' wait to get my first RMC next year as well, as I already booked my tickets for Energylandia.
Good list, adjusting for our differences in taste i would agree with almost all of your picks (well maybe sitch things a place or 2 at most). Ofcourse my list looks a lot different but then thats my list. Of the coasters we both have done except for i think 2 coasters they are all in my top 30 to. Now i haven't done Turkeye and the newest coasters since i've been travelling to the US for the past 2 years. Considering what i think of toutanis based on the same model in bush gardens i don't think that one is going to make it on my list though or its going to be way in the back part. And i have Troy in it.
I really like your channel Mark, which is funny because I wouldn't consider myself a coaster enthusiast and I can't really argue about your list hahaha (I've rode like one coaster from there). Keep up the good work and I can't wait for the next adventure 😉 I will be watching here in Portugal 🇵🇹 (I know we have no coasters at all 🥲)
For me I think, so far, my top 5 is: Zadra Batman Gotham City Escape Untamed Kondaa Toutatis I am not a huge fan of RtH and I’ll ride Voltron next week… but I don’t think my top5 will change
Totally didn’t predict number one😂😂 *blasts the on board audio* ⚙️🦋👁️👑⚙️ While I haven’t ridden a single roller coaster in Europe, I think some of my favorite ones from this year’s trip other than Ride to Happiness were Hyperia, Junker, Nemesis Reborn, F.L.Y., Olympia Looping, Wild Train, and the Duplo Dino Coaster for being the world’s most ridiculous coaster sorry, not sorry🤣😂🤣😂
Completely agree about Voltron. Although it's impressive technologically and the atmosphere in the station and queue is energetic, in terms of the coaster, the only memorable part of it is that first beyond-vertical launch. The rest of the layout is just a lot of good to very good elements cobbled together. Nothing's exceptional. It's a cliché, but the ride feels like quantity over quality, and dare I say it, a bit sterile. It can also border on unpleasant in the wrong seat/train. We seem to have similar taste in coasters though, good to see the love for Kondaa and Hyperia haha
@@CoasterDash I think voltron is better than hyperia but it's very close. If I get a rough ride and I'm in the lateral seat, when the ride becomes almost too much, it's better than hyperia but not by much. If I get a inner seat and a smooth ride, then I definitely prefer it over hyperia.
I don't think I would put ride to happiness on my list if I ever was in Europe. I don't do well with any sort of spinning ride. Even Tea Cups make me ill. The spinning mouse makes me need to sit down for 30 minutes. And I avoid them now.
I know this is a hot take, but for me Ride To Happiness is not comparable with the rest of the top 10. I think it’s very overrated. Still an amazing ride though
@lkwkkkigjzns8961 yes as long as you're respectful of others'. Saying "that ride is overrated" is wrong because nobody can decide what needs to rank higher or not. Say that you were disappointed instead.
Thank you for watching! 🎢

Untamed: did it at nights during halloween event, just unbelievable, would place it even higher
Hyperia: was closed during my visit
Toutatis: frustrating trim but everything else is incredible, glad I've got such a banger near my home
Kondaa: the beginning sequence is unbeliavable and overall, it has some of the best airtimes out there, I just find the NICR and the final overwhelming

Honestly the way you said Biddinghuizen is maybe the best pronunciation I've heard from a foreigner, nice!
For me Voltron is the best coaster in Germany but I have ridden it in the winter season and it's quite smooth now. It also has a train with special winter wheels and that train absolutely hauls through that layout
It's smooth because it's cold. And it runs slower. Morning rides were fine for me, evening ones were much worse.
2 coasters in thz top 5 in 🇧🇪 🤩
Hello from Singapore! Your no 1 and 2 are the same as mine, even though ive only ridden about 150 coasters worldwide. Great list and I enjoy your videos. And yes, Volton is too rattly to be ranked higher.
Rank all the parks you visited next pls
Ohhh my gosh! So many rankings! First Theme Park Brandon top in the U.S., now you! My favorite kind of video!!!
European coasters just look so much more unique than American ones. i've never ridden one, but some of those need to make their way overseas soon.
ITS HEREEEEE
Way to go Belgium! 😅 love the channel Mark! Keep up the good work and most of all, enjoy!
@@bartbartholomeeusen8455 Thanks for the support!
Just came here after watching theme park Brandon’s best coasters in the US, lol
Top 3 in europe for me
1.taron
2.untamed
3.katun
Greetings from the netherlands
KATUN ❤❤❤
Would love to get on Katun!
I'm surprised only 2 rides in the UK made the list but Hyperia is the best by far, and I am very happy with its placement

You’re the man mark, would love to meet you on a Hershey park visit or something in the area
Keep up the good work and I can't wait for the next adventure 😉
I will be watching here in Portugal 🇵🇹 (I know we have no coasters at all 🥲)
For me I think, so far, my top 5 is:
Zadra
Batman Gotham City Escape
Untamed
Kondaa
Toutatis
I am not a huge fan of RtH and I’ll ride Voltron next week… but I don’t think my top5 will change
@@bloglondonso Great list! Is RtH not here due to the spinning?
@@CoasterDash I bet yes
Totally didn’t predict number one😂😂 *blasts the on board audio* ⚙️🦋👁️👑⚙️ While I haven’t ridden a single roller coaster in Europe, I think some of my favorite ones from this year’s trip other than Ride to Happiness were Hyperia, Junker, Nemesis Reborn, F.L.Y., Olympia Looping, Wild Train, and the Duplo Dino Coaster for being the world’s most ridiculous coaster sorry, not sorry🤣😂🤣😂
Duplo Dino Coaster transcends the top 30
@ Hahaha YAAAYYY🩷🧡💛💚🩵 Duplo supremacy, it’s his world and we’re just all happy to be part of it
I live in Europe but I only have Asian rollercoasters on my Top 10. 😄
We seem to have similar taste in coasters though, good to see the love for Kondaa and Hyperia haha
cant wait for top 100 coasters itw
Goliath at Walibi Holland should be an honorable mention at leeeeast!
Incoming outrage from UK Nemesis Reborn fan boys in 3... 2... 1...😂
Surprised it’s in the 30 😂😂
Unfortunately since I don’t travel to Europe have to live through you.
Given a like without watching YET ,i know i will like it sooooo😂
Appreciate the support, always!
Heading to Europa Park tomorrow.
Though, not Voltron - it's not for me
Number 1 Megaphobia
Finally someone who thinks Hyperia is better than Voltron: it wasn't just me 🤣
Seriously! I feel like i’m in the extreme minority 😅
Red force- worlds tallest roller coaster
@@badmoonrising7795 Wow, crazy to think about that 😅
I can understand you but i dont think Kärnan is better than Voltron. Maybe rode Kärnan to often (over 200 times).
I don't think I would put ride to happiness on my list if I ever was in Europe. I don't do well with any sort of spinning ride. Even Tea Cups make me ill. The spinning mouse makes me need to sit down for 30 minutes. And I avoid them now.
@@davefroman4700 Tea Cups make me ill too! So do some spinning wild mice. Still not convinced? 😆
I hate tea cups too, but this is not nauseating at all
You kept saying how the roller coasters in Turkey were a pain to ride. What happened?
you forgot to say how many you did in belgium
Hyperia = number 1
I know this is a hot take, but for me Ride To Happiness is not comparable with the rest of the top 10. I think it’s very overrated. Still an amazing ride though
Ok man do you want a prize?
@ Cant I express my own opinion?
@lkwkkkigjzns8961 yes as long as you're respectful of others'. Saying "that ride is overrated" is wrong because nobody can decide what needs to rank higher or not. Say that you were disappointed instead.
@lkwkkkigjzns8961 and say why you think this way
@ I literally said “I think it’s very overrated” clearly I was expressing my own opinion by saying I THINK. I don’t know what you are trying to say.
Velocicoaster still better than Batman: Gotham City Escape, but both great!
Batman: Gotham City Escape is Maverick and Velocicoaster rolled into one, but with unexpected weird elements thrown in, it's actually pretty good.
@@angelbarcia9689 I know but Velocicoaster still the best out of the three for sure! I've ridden all of them!
