    I've been doing my research about luxury sedans of all manufacturers and I must say that since I would buy (finance) one instead of lease I would look no further due to the features and reliability. TOYOTA can't be beaten in terms of being reliable

    This is basically a baby LS if you think about it. Its never meant to be sporty and it's sole purpose was to be a quiet and luxurious sedan. I mean, the LS itself has a V8, sure, but not the same V8 they put into their F series.

    This is a full size, front wheel luxury car. Why do people say it competes with mid size cars? This car competes with the Cadillac XTS, Acura RLX (not TLX), Buick LaCrosse, and Lincoln MKS. All of which are full sized, front wheel drive cars.

    It hast to have a light on the inside of the visor on the right of the mirror.Also ridges and a small line so you can see what mode you are shifting to and ridges on the secular mode shifter.

    Has anyone bought this car? It looks classy and wide car too and the exterior is amazing too. I saw it the other day and we're thinking to get it. We were about to buy NX but it wasn't comfortable in the back at all.

      +Oldi Xemnes I bought one a few weeks ago. It rides really good, but I have to say there are some things I don't like about it. Also, the control device (next to the gear shift) looks different in mine than the one demonstrated here. Mine has a big knob instead of the trackpad.

    • @Xemnes90
      @Xemnes90 9 років тому

      JaimeRayVaughn Thank you so much for the reply, honestly it's good from the outside and so wide inside but didn't like the interior and it doesn't have much options, the dashboard looked so classy and it's too pricy. We just purchased Mazda CX-9 we should get it these days m,it's not a luxury car but still it's great and big for family and great price too.
      Thx again 😄

    Lexus is playing catch up , Hyundai is way ahead in the technology they offer. The Es is a luxury car please keep up with the competition by offering more options. No rear heated seat, I get more things in a Hyundai sonata these days.

      +Ric Oaks Lexus made a major leap with the exterior, however Hyundai is double timing with both exterior and interior. Lexus has a respectful reputation for reliability and comfort they aren't in any danger but Hyundai is really paving the way, the amount they offer for their money is becoming harder for people to overlook and their curiosity overuns people's negative association with the name. Great things to come.

      +Ric Oaks I think Hyundai does offer a lot of bang for your buck. But I wouldn't think a lot of people would be cross shopping both. Lexus are known for smoothness on the road like buicks and some people would want to get prestige as well. But it isn't to say hyundais/Kia sucks.

    Does anyone know if this car feels like butter

    • @norakat
      @norakat 5 років тому

      Tsar Peter I - it depends, it’s all relative. The suspension is not on par w something like a LS but it is still better than most cars. If you get 18” wheels the ride is very firm but small bumps are handled well. Significant bumps can be jarring. Also the torque on this car feels very low. It depends on high rpm to get any speed/acceleration. So if you put it in sport or normal mode, the engine really roars to get it going which does not feel so elegant. In comfort mode the steering can feel loose at higher speeds. In sport mode it tightens up. The seat is fairly firm. I’d like a little more cushioning and better ergonomics (seat does not fit me too well.)

    • @ricoaks7198
      @ricoaks7198 9 років тому

      Why not they are all luxury cars just as bmw , acura , audi etc. Years ago people said the same about Lexus when they started out and they were no benz and bmw. Hyundai is that path and doing really well. Remember lexus was just rebranded toyota.

    • @Casualdriver
      @Casualdriver 9 років тому

      Because Hyundai sell their cars really cheap but they aren't worth anything after a few years... People like low prices but are stuck with a worthless car after 3-4 years.
