Welcome to a brand new episode of Chopstick Travel. Today’s video is PART 1 of a two part series in a very special foodie destination. A place known for flamenco dancing, matadors, and incredible tapas dishes. Welcome to SEVILLE! Spanish food & culture is world-renown, and in the tiny city of Sevilla, the sense of Spanish tradition is strong! Join us for a day of eating and sightseeing in this beautiful city.
We start our morning with tostada, toasted buns spread with tomato puree and oil, and to wake up, a fresh cup of coffee with milk. Dessert after breakfast is a must, and we take you to a famous (and old) shop for churros con chocolate! We check out the oldest Gothic Cathedral in the world - Cathedral de Sevilla, to marvel at Sevilla’s gorgeous architecture. Next we head over to a fresh market called Mercado de Triana to sample some of the BEST jamón in the world, and enjoy a glass of sangria. YUM! We head to the Plaza de España and have the chance to watch some amazing street artists perform flamenco dancing, with live music! We finish our day with some incredible Spanish dishes and tapas hopping, visiting the oldest bar in Seville and sampling local liquors and wines as well!

Just love Spanish food,usually fairly simple, straightforward,not pretentious and absolutely delicious.Tapas has to be one of the most civilsed ways of eating.
The philosophy of cooking in Galicia: get a good product and spoil it as little as possible. Do not hide its flavor.
@@JuanGarcia-qi4ze I had an Asian ask me why European Cuisine has such little spice, I told them 'when you have good product then you don't need too much sauce or spice'. I noticed in Asia that they don't care about good produce as they are going to cover it in sauce anyway, I was always raised to seek out the best produce and to season lightly, It is the European way of life. In Asia, the sauce is the main attraction, in Europe the produce is the main attraction. It is just two different ways of cooking, neither is wrong.

I was named after a Spanish friend of my parents and I’m sure my love for the Spanish people, the language and delicious food culture is actually in my DNA thanks to my parents… I grew up being exposed to delicious Tapas from a very early age, I devoured my first plate of Spanish green olives at age 2-3! 😂❤ I hope to go back on vacation in Spain one day…

Philippines are Colonized by Spain way back in history from 1521 to 1898 some of our food here are influence by spain 😊
Tapa here are marinated meat in soy sauce or salt sometimes sun dry before frying
We have Arroz here its Arroz Valenciana here
our Chicharon are Crispy deep fry Pork Skin
We also do afternoon rest/sleep SIYESTAS

OMG the churros with hot chocolate. That looks amazing. Important not to have it too sweet, or you'll max out almost immediately. When I do a chocolate & fruit fondue, I use more dark chocolate than milk chocolate.
And that cured meat looks amazing.

Bacalao is actually cod that has been salted and dry aged thereby enhancing its "fishy" flavor. It is most often used in stews and combined with tomatoes, salchichon (cured sausage) and garbanzos.

La cocina española procede de una cocina tradicional extremadamente antigua que se conserva con mimo y se innova con genio ..Aqui se cocina en las casas, mi abuela me enseño a cocinar, como a mi madre, mi tia y mis hermanos y primos....la cocina usa productos cercanos de gran calidad y combinados con mucha sabiduria ( siglos de sabiduria). Tambien tenemos de los mejores y mas creativos chefs del mundo. Cocina es cultura, es arte y es cariño ...no recuerdo una reunion familiar o de amigos sin comida.... y buena sidra o vino...y refrescos hechos en casa para los pequeños...😊
