thank you for this great list!! One thing I must add about Bodeguita Romero, the place is absolutely tiny and absolutely packed within minutes of opening so you really need to have patience to get a seat here, it is that popular. They are also not open very long, 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening. I tried 3 times to go here without luck as it was so crowded the wait was going to be very long. I went a little before they just opened and finally was able to get a seat at the bar.
Thanks for your feedback. What you describe is becoming the norm throughout Spain, with the tourist overload (things are getting out of hand), places where you would get in before now mean queuing for a long time. We were recently in San Sebastián doing field work and couldn't enter five of our favorite bars due to the queues of foreign tourists.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal well if it wasnt for the foreign tourists spain whould be bankrupt. have you heard any news about these new rules for hostels that are meant to be coming in next month. they seem to keep on pushing the date back.
We have watched all your videos before planning our trip to Spain & Portugal and would like to really thank you for every guidance. Our trip this May was a big hit thanks to you Tony, from location to eating joints to agenda :) can't wait for your next videos to come up.
All the dishes looked delicious 😋 Thanks Tony for the mouthwatering recommendations 👍 I try not to miss any of your videos and i highly recommend it to my friends, specially for those who are planning to visit Spain and Portugal. 😊
Carrillera or Rabo de toro are two of the greatest meat dishes I´ve ever tried, in my entire life. When properly cooked, give me that over a wagyu steak, any day... for a fraction of the price. Great vid, as always.

Hi Tony, I just love the enthusiasm in your descriptions, glorious! outrageously good! spectacular! Cannot wait to try some of these dishes, thanks for your marvelous reviews! Excellent video!
Thank you for our video. I am going to Seville this year and will take you up on your suggestions. I am not sure when your video was made as prices may have changed. You did not mention if tipping is expected...I especially liked your link to maps of all your visited locations. thank you.
Hi Sam, the video was recorded in spring this year, prices won't have changed much. See our video on tipping here: ua-cam.com/video/BsC4YV6ezzY/v-deo.html
Hi Tony, we are in Seville and have tried 4 of the restaurants you have suggested in this video and most of the dishes. Absolutely fantastic, thank you. We are going to Granada tomorrow and will continue to take your advice there ☺️

Holá Tony! Love your informative videos, they are a must to anyone planning to visit Spain. We're going to visit Seville and we're planning to do a day visit to Jeréz de la Frontera to visit some Jeréz producers Bodegas. Do you know if on those bodegas walk-ins are welcome or do you need to do a reservation to do sherry tasting for 2 people? Thank you in advance for your advice.
Hola, the big bodegas might be able to accommodate you with no prior reservation, but there are so many tourists in Spain right now that we encourage you to book in advance. We should have a video on Jerez on the first half of this year.
Hi Tony. I'm in Italy on day five of my 10-day cruise. I spent two nights in Barcelona. Unfortunately, the trip I had planned to Girona I had to cancel because Air France Lost my luggage for 2 days. This is my question. Sorry, I just found a recent post of yours and posted my question here. If I could do either Montserrat or a trip to Girona which one would you recommend? I would like to see both, but I just don't think I'll have time. Could you please give me your honest opinion as to what you would do for a first time visitor? Thanks in advance for your help.
Hello We are travelling to Seville and I can not understand how to travel with metro and bus. Can you tell me is it the same ticket(Tarjeta multiviaje) for both or not. Best regards
Depends on the time of the year. If you go early, you might have no problem to find a table. But with so many tourists in Spain right now, booking is always an idea.
@@ROADTRIPSpainandPortugal okay thanks!! I figured, but wanted to make sure! I was afraid I was driving restaurants crazy asking about reservations! 😆😆😆
Bodeguita Romero was excellent , we loved the Flamenquin. We went to Bodega Santa Cruz and never again. The food was good, but the Lady behind the bar, maybe an owner, was the Rudest person we have ever encountered. Should definitely Not be in customer service. We would have stayed longer but because of her rudeness we left.
