@@BelleOfTheBrawl1 Beware! Tetras die super easily. I honestly wouldn’t recommend tetras. If you’re looking for a good schooling fish, I’d probably go with danios or guppies, but I’ve never tried guppies before so I don’t know how easily guppies die. Hope this helped. 😊

That's how I do it with our hamster as well. I tell my parents not to worry about waiting to feed the hamster until darkness falls -- she gets up after everyone has gone to bed -- I just tell them to put food in her cage and she'll find it. That way, maybe fewer accidents will happen if I am on vacation and need to entrust the hamster to them for a short time.

But I do have a question, I got my Squishy some freeze dried meal worms (I wanted to provide some protein) but he refuses to eat them no matter what I do. :( He seems fine and healthy, but I just wish he would eat his meal worms. Cherry Shrimp (Neocaridina Davidi)can be sexed better by the shapes of their body, is easier when they are older. Absolutely love Shrimp, I find them really relaxing to watch and great for my mental health. :)
Don't feel bad about missing an Oto , they are all captive caught. They unfortunately aren't feed at all during the entire month long process of reaching the pet store. Nothing you do can save a starved fish
I'd usually recommend something at least 18" that way it gives you a decent space for bedding + still room for stuff like a wheel and taller accessories
Hi Victoria! I've been having an issue regarding my hamster. I've noticed that she has started chewing on the plastic items in her cage. No, not bar biting, for example there's this plastic slide in her cage and there are bite marks all over them. It's very concerning, I provided wood things for her to chew on but she didn't show any interest. I put peanut butter on them but she just licked the surface and left :( any tips?

Hey! Love your content btw but I just wanted to share my knowledge on Otto cats. I have four and I can never find the fourth! I try moving everything around but he just disappeared. This happens all the time with my Ottos but I promise they are alive and well in the tank. I had one missing for about a month and a half but recently when I cleaned my tank he re appeared. Hope this helps😅

My hamster is dragging its hind legs and feels lighter then usual just on her lower back I’m not sure what happens as she was fine a couple days ago she started not coming out in the past 2 days and I got worried I was going to sleep and I heard her chewing so I went to see her since I hadn’t seen he in a while and I noticed she was dragging her hind legs and lower back and felt lighter I don’t thinks she’s a older hamster because before she had been showing no signs of old age and was such a active excited hamster I’m crying while typing this because I’m so worried I’m not sure what could cause this because her cage has nothing dangerous that cold cause this I’ve never dropped her so I’m so confused what could cause this can someone please help im also taking her to the vet this weekend I hope she’s gonna be ok please send prayers for her ❤

Great video Victoria! I have a Syrian that tends to chew on EVERYTHING. I have lots of toys and things to chew on he has a big cage, about 8-10 inches of bedding a large enough wheel, plenty of things to keep him busy, and lots of places to hide. Even with all of that, he chews on things I'm not sure he should be chewing on. For example, I gave him a nice Plastic house that he can hide in and climb but I noticed him chewing on the part that holds the plastic together. I took it out though. He chews on lots of other things too. I'm not sure if what he is doing is safe.

Hey Victoria and I have a hamster called nibbles before he used to be like jumpy jumpy excited when I put him into his cage after cleaning it. He would go round everywhere running eating food and being happy but just today when I cleaned his cage and put him back in there. He wasn’t breathing properly he was really breathing fast he was shaking his eyes were like half closed please help me please reply back to me if you have any tips or help please 🙏

Did you have the shrimp when the oto went missing? Shrimp will eat a fish that has passed and theoretically they leave a skeleton, but I've never ever found a skeleton after they eat the fish, either they eat that too or it's just so small it vanishes in the tank. Alternatively sometimes small fish get stuck in filter components for HOB filters and live there for ages, or they jump out, or they're absolutely fine and just found a great hiding spot.

Love this video definitely makes me want another Hamster and I definitely have to get all those items lol especially the Flower treats from Exotics Nutrion for my rabbits and the small pet select items they love toys and hanging toys and hay I love the small pet select white paper bedding and they're premium white paper pellet bedding so much I use both as litter for my buns the least dusty and so light weight bedding/ litter ever perfect for my asthma and allergies and for the buns

Love the shrimps, i also have a lot of shrimps and a lot of baby shrimps. You can tell the male and female apart because the females are normally bigger, longer, have a bigger and rounder belly, you can also see the eggs in their belly. Males ares slimmer and shorter and have small bellies.

I have the small pet select herbal blend that i use for my hamster and he honestly loves it so much! i wish i could show it but he dosent like being recorded but he LOVES to sniff it and chuck it into his coco fibre for some reason but het at least he likes it

Definitely try looking into getting a hamster from a rescue or on rehoming websites online!

My Syrian takes a wooden chew toy, buries it somewhere, and I never see it again until her next cage cleaning day.

Love the shrimps, i also have a lot of shrimps and a lot of baby shrimps. You can tell the male and female apart because the females are normally bigger, longer, have a bigger and rounder belly, you can also see the eggs in their belly. Males ares slimmer and shorter and have small bellies.

I have the small pet select herbal blend that i use for my hamster and he honestly loves it so much! i wish i could show it but he dosent like being recorded but he LOVES to sniff it and chuck it into his coco fibre for some reason but het at least he likes it

hi victoria! my hamster passed away this wednesday, and i've been extremely sad at the passing of my hamster. her name was cookie, she was a winter white hamster, gray stripes. we named her cookie because her color scheme resembled the cookies and cream look. thank you for making videos about hamsters and different animals, you've helped me a lot with my hamster and i just wanna say thank you for all of your videos. you are amazing and i love you

It’s so sad but bittersweet because when you go into the bunny room there’s only two hamsters but we are all happy that Mabel had the best life that he could have had we really miss him :))😊😢
