I’ve never had a Chinese hamster get sick and they do seem to last longer, I guess because they aren’t as common humans haven’t messed their breed up as much yet. Waddles is just adorable ❤

My hamster is 1 year and 2 months old, but I’ve only had him since December 17th, 2021, because he was at the pet store for 2 weeks

My old Dwarf Hamster, Ashley, got put down because she got cancer. It was really bad. She had welts and bumps all over her tiny body. Her paw was just swollen up with a large red welt. You couldn’t even see her toe. Her nose was covered with them and the Vet said she was in a lot of pain so the only option was to put her down 😢 I miss her… she wasn’t ready to die.

I’m so sorry, that Mable is ill and potentially has cancer. I currently have a 2.5-year-old/30-month-old, Syrian hamster and she’s starting to slow down, and she’s on critical care because she’s not keeping weight on and I know I’m potentially going to lose her soon and I don’t think I’ve quite come to terms with that because she has been such a big part of my life, and I love her so dearly. These tiny little creatures, just take a piece of your heart. ❤

My baby Izzy, my first hamster is growing old too. It’s hard and it makes me appreciate every second I have with her so much more 😢

My first tattoo is a pawprint of my late doggy, I love it so much, she's always going to be with me. So if you could actually get a pawprint from one of your hamsters that would be pretty neat! Either way, it's a lovely tattoo and I'm glad to see you're doing well haven't been watching in a while!
Hey Victoria i just wanted to say that thanks to you im getting a dwarf hamster in a few weeks and you have helped me so much to find a proper hamster cage and how to take care of a hamster! (Btw one of my close friends recommended your channel because you helped them a lot too when they got a hamster a year ago!!)
i love dwarf hamsters! i had a dwarf hamster and he was wayyy more low maintenance than my current female syrian lolll

Hi Victoria, I started watching you in 2020 when I got my first hamster 🐹 When I got him, he was living in a 40 by 50 centimeters cage. Then I searched for basic hamster care, and I found you. My brother and I earned money for a new cage, but when we bought it, Sushi started chewing on it, so we upgraded it to a bin cage. You taught me about bedding, free romming, hamster diet, and basicly everything I should know. Sushi was a dwarf hamster ( hybrid ) he lived 2,5 years he past on Thuesday😭. I'm so grateful for everything I know from your channel. I want to say thank you for all the knowledge about hamster care🐹🐹🐹

Love your video! I decided to own a hamster myself in December after watching a few of your videos to get ready for one! So far I love being a hamster owner! My hamster loves baby puffs and I would give them to her as treats, but how many baby puffs I should give her daily or weekly to ensure I don't give too much?

Hi Victoria I just got a hamster on Tuesday I’m not a new timer but I’m looking for some tips on where to get big yet cheap hamster cages because mine is a pretty decent cage but there’s always room for more improvement btw my new hamsters name is chippy

Ummm yeah
okay so like bin cages are greattt! just make sure you can find one that is big enough and is high so you can put enough bedding!. also i got a big fish tank from petco (44 breeder tank) and when i signed up for there rewards or whatever it’s called i was able to get a discount so it was only 50 dollars! so if that 44 breadew tank is bigger than your cage right now, that’s a option. i know 50 dollars is still kinda expensive but you can always save up :)

I have three hamsters too. My oldest girl is also showing signs of aging, she turns 2 years next month, so I get more lap time because she is slower to get down on the floor now. I even put a heating pad against the glass where her burrow is to make it warmer because she was coming out with cold feet.

I LOVE your channel! I am thinking of buying a Robo hamster, but I just moved back home and it’s not my space and my ma is terrified of rodents. I’ve sat for rabbits, cats, dogs and pythons, but don’t think so could manage that many pets. I have a friend like you that absolutely adores and takes such good care of his pets…….he has an adorable hedgehog and some reptiles as well as a shitzu I think. Anyway, I watch all your videos on pet care.

my hamster passed away on Monday from a respiratory infection that she was on meds for. Missing her a lot but love keeping up with you and the pets 🫶🏼

For me, it’s like hamsters are higher maintenance in the beginning, buying SOOOO much enrichment, making bin cages (200 qt size), etc.
But Guinea pigs are higher maintenance over time w how much they poop 😭 pee, & throw hay everywhere 😂

I love ur tattoo! You are so lucky that Mabel has been so healthy all this time. I sadly have had a very sick hamster in the past he got sick in about 3 days and passed not long after. I begged my mom to bring him to the vets but she refused saying he was to small and they can’t do anything.HIs eyes were stuck closed he wasn’t eating or moving hardly at all.I’m not sure if you would know what it is.I know if I don’t have secure pet care than I shouldn’t get a bother hamster but I did 😞 I love this one little brown Syrian so much.So I was determined to give him a better life. Now thanks to you he in a big cage with a big wheel and has a much better life and l love him so much. If you might know what illness my other hamster fell I’ll with i please let me know. But thank you so much because nOw Buddy is living a much better life.😊🐹

How old are the different hamsters. My hamster is 2 years 8 months and I am getting a little worried about him.
Waddles is 2.3 yrs, Mabel will be 2 yrs on the 23rd and dipper is 1 year 7 months
that’s defiantly on the older side for hamsters, just be prepared :) my last hammy died at around 3 years old. i’m sure it’s just him aging ❤
