Thank you Steve, probably the most informative video on boilie rolling posted on youtube. So much information along with hint's and tips to take in, combined with your other videos you really are an inspiration and role model for carpers to aspire to, keep up the good work.
1 question, how do you save the boilies? are you freezing them or Make you boilies that you can save to a few month's with conserve stuff? (my english is not so good, i'm onlu a 15 year old dutch fisher but i'm making boilies to but don't now how to save them without a freezer. i'm drying them 2 day's and freez them in, but this is not always possible because my parrents need tr freezer to. do you now another way to save them? greets from daniel :)
Hello from the USA! I'm trying to find a recipe idea for a mussel based boilie. The mussels here are hard to harvest so I was thinking that maybe canned claims or oysters would be a good substitute. How do you suggest this type of wet paste ingredient is used or measured? Would you use a fishmeal base or a milk one for the flavor to bleed out better?
I wouldn't bother using them, I'd use something else instead that I know I can catch the fish, that's much easier to use and make baits with. Keep it simple, carp aren't food connoisseurs.
Hi, Amazing Vid. How long will they last in the freezer? I am going to France fishing. Any frozen boilies would thaw on the journey I heard the are not the same refrozen. What would be my best plan of action? Cheers Mucker
I need to get one of those mixers because am using a folk and my hands and it is tough and time consumeing, plus I know what you mean when making big batchs by using the hand gun, good idea with a compressed air gun.
Well about time :) just what we was all waiting for we'll done m8, grate stuff this will help out so many carper's I bet, keep the vid,s coming we all love them, thanks
Alright Steve , that mixer you use, will it mix a kilo at a time ? or will it damage the motor in the mixer? appreciate your view as im thinking of buying one cheers mate
I've been carp fishing for about 2 years now and want to make my own boilies but don't know where to start. I was thinking about doing a base mix of semolina, soya flour, and ccmoore herring meal and maybe milk poder with possibly some belachan in there. Then eggs mixed with ccmoore Robbin Red or Amino Blend 365. The problem is I don't know how much base mix of which ingredients to use, and how many eggs with how much liquid attractant to get so and so amount of bait. I don't even know if these would make good boilies because I would like to pre bait with them and use them as hook baits but I don't know if the carp would even eat them. Do you think they might not consistently eat these boilies because of lack of essential nutrients? Also how long after boiling should you put them in the freezer, because some people say as soon as they're cool while others say to wait a few days.
Great ! Really nice mix. I had problems with my own mix. Like rough boilies, but rolling them is not as simple as a thin mix. Could you tell me please your recipe from the 50% bulkmix binders? I would be very happy :) With best regards from west Germany. Tight lines !
Put out a cook book for carp and cats boillies and pellets like fox did with rigs I would get it but the video is great good info there is one I have made in the 70 s or 80 s by a English guy but not as informative
Would you add attractors to a bait that you want to feed with or just use a base mix and flavours/colours? Can you recommend a book that explains alot about what ingrediants you should use to make a boilie for a hookbait and a boilie for feeding with. Keep up the great videos
Do you find that big gardener rolling table sticks? When I use mine it catches on the joins it’s a bit disappointing to be honest. Do you know a cure for this ?
Hi Steve. The fish in my syndicate respond really well to a bait with robin red in it. Could you suggest the ingredients and a mix I could use to make my own boilies?
@@TheCarpCatcher cheers, i ended up getting a "gun" rather than the sausage table i was using which is giving better results did you find you needed to add anything else to the 30/20 PD mix in terms of liquid attraction?

Hi Steve how long do you air dry the Boilies before you freeze them.
Cracking blog m8 helps a lot of carpers out :)
all day mate
where you get your drying racks from ?
if your bait is pillow casing on the table is the mix too sticky still?
too crumbly, try: allowing it to sit, moisten more, use more binders.

+András Gergely qdos do a 24 that will do , and there cheap and a good size
If i have a 20mm table, what diam should have the gun nozzle? 19,20?
20mm but you should let your mix settle for a while before gunning as it will swell, how much and how long depends on your mix
