Love how you can always see Dyan right behind you... Love both of you so much... I really would love and enjoy showing playing and doing tutorials on your and dyans products.
Love Dina and love everything she creates. I already have so many journals, but this one is really calling my name 😄 the scribble sticks seem awesome too.
I did another video showing the Scribble Sticks. In my rainbow example I had doodled over the scribble sticks. I think I had used Dyan's Paint Pens, but Pitt Pens would work as well: ua-cam.com/video/jLswTI75HUc/v-deo.html
it's a race this year..hoping my tax refund hits the bank at the same time your products hit the stores...psst..I'll be broke 10 minutes after i filll my need/want 2017 CHA list. tfs
Seriously? If I had to give it some serious thought, I would say that Dina and all of her peers design with art... and crafting... and the love of what they do, firmly in mind. And the hope that people of ALL shapes, sizes, ages, ethnic backgrounds, or (like me) limited artistic ability, will get on board with their creative ideas. Pretty much all-inclusive, I would say.
Peggy, if you are an artist or crafter maybe you could create what you think designers are not providing. There could very well be a need in the market for what you feel is missing. I find that art and crafting is an individual and personal journey myself. Art crosses race, creed and gender in my opinion. We make do with what we have, and if we don't have it we improvise. This sounds like the perfect opportunity for you to create and/or design something that maybe there is a need for.
What products are you looking for? Have you tried emailing the companies and making suggestions to them on what it is that you feel they need? I'm sure they'll make it and sell it to you if there's a market for it.
I would love to know what color palate or products you would like to see. 99% of the products they sell are not even my stile an I am always creating new ways to make it my own. Stamps and stencils are someone else’s design. I end up carving my own. Most of these things or at least what I buy are just the supplies them selves.

are the scribble sticks like oil pastel sticks? Do you know?
They are similar to the Caran D'Ache Neocolor sticks.
Oh goodness, Poor Dina - I hope she's feeling better soon! Having to do a bunch of presentations when you can barely talk is no fun.

Again why don't these designers create with the people of color in mind?
