- Brian with The Diesel Cartel converted his 2017-2020 F-150 3.5 to a dual Raptor exhaust. He installed SPD turbo adapters, SPD Raptor downpipes, SPD equal length (Trombone) resonator delete, factory Raptor muffler, and SPD turndown tips.

Honestly if EcoBoosts had equal length setups like this from the factory, I might have even considered one instead of my 5.0. This sounds so much better than every EcoBoost I've ever heard in person. Like a V6 should sound.

We are working on a muffler replacement that should do the trick.
How much is the trombone section alone if you just wanted to use the stock muffler? I have to use mine as a generator, so it still can be quiet but still sound good like that. That's pretty awesome work you did.

I just got the SPD trombone resonator delete with my 20 Limited (raptor exhaust), need to install but I am stoked for a decent sound.

I live in an apartment right now and I have an 05 mustang that already rattles the windows and I’d like a little more from my 20 f150 but I don’t wanna be the asshole that leaves at 5 am in the loud ecoboost or the loud mustang lmao.

@@mattdorsey9906 you will need a set of raptor down pipes to make this work on a standard 3.5 ecoboost. The standard f-150 ecoboost including the powerboost has a 2 to 1 merged downpipe that’s more like a y pipe.

@@SPDPerformance this is game changing. I have struggled to find ANYONE who understands that trucks needs equal length exhaust to sound good. I have a 2018 f150 with the 5.0 and coming from a mustang, equal length exhaust is a must on truck. I just wish the downpipes weren't needed and the factory y pipe could but cut and welded with this system. I also wish there was an x pipe variant.
