I am so thankful that you get Avi. This man's beautiful soul and loving heart paves the way for him to constantly heal himself while simultaneously offering others the ability to do the same if we choose.
Beautiful reaction, thank you! Avi is a phenomenal songwriter, his lyrics are personal yet also very relatable. For more reactions, I recommend “I’ll get by” and “I’m only getting started”.
Avi always has incredible lyrics. Because Avi is honest & vulnerable with his life & songs, his music is very relatable. Honestly, I haven't heard a song I didn't like of his, every song takes you on an emotional journey. Such a talent. I appreciate you continuing on reacting to him. 😀
Thank you, Saeed, for getting to my request so quickly. I love that you totally get where Avi is coming from. Fun fact: the guitarist and drummer are his touring band . The pedal steel was added for the Floating on a Dream tour. For the Feel Alright tour this year, I'm hoping for a piano player considering the two songs he has released from the EP. Have a great day, cheers!
Thanks so much for requesting and the donation. This song really resonates with me. Ive been on that path of selfreflection for a few years and have come a long way. Trying to be a little better each day. And songs like this really help with that process. So again thank you for introducing me to it. Have a wonderful day.
🌎💚🌎 .. his voice is so immaculate!! I think Avi is one of the most important singing voices in our current culture. I would include Ren on that short list as well. .... Avi makes a huge impact in just a few seconds... 🌎💚🌎
This ole grandma really enjoys watching you react to Avi's music ~ The way you "get it" is clear in your expressions and in your eyes! Hoping to see you react to his beautiful "Avi Kaplan, All Is Well, 7 Layers session # 126 " 💚 Thanks, Saeed ~
Avi's songs are 'the work'. He used music (and walking) to help himself and has said that he really hopes that others will find that his songs help them.
After struggling through three losses in my immediate family in four months, I turned to music to help me escape. I found Avi Kaplan. He fast become my favorite artist. I'll be back for anything he does!
I knew this one would hit you. Amazingly, writing songs like this is a big part of him "doing the work." I have probably said this more than once already, but his greatest hope is that his music, which helped him so much while he was writing it, can help other people who hear it. There are quite a few lines in this one that really speak to me. His voice never fails to wrap you in a feeling of compassion and understanding (and appreciation for the beauty of his tone).
His struggles have been enormous in his early career. Many songs he writes are about his struggle with depression and I think this one is even more personal. But he's a fighter....wishing him all of God's blessings on his journey.
This was a little heartbreaking for me. The emotions I felt when I first heard this had me tears through the whole song. Not totally sure what he meant in his lyrics, I just associated them to my own life.
Avi has suffered with anxiety and depression and this song is about the intrusive thoughts that he had to fight off. The argument he has in this song is with himself! I hope you feel better soon - try his recent song 'Healing' - or one of his earliest, 'Quarter Past Four' (under Avriel and the Sequoias).
Another good reaction, thank you, I find with AVI’s music (which is always amazing) no matter what he’s singing he never brings you down, a lot of us relate to this song, some have a good cry but it’s in part a cleansing cry, AVI’s music will I’m travel the test of time and people will be reacting and listening to his music for years to come.💜🫶🏼
I commented too soon. When you said that you and Avi have “that” in common , you can add me to your boy band (🤣). I felt good that you shared that. Not good that you are dealing with stuff. But I felt a kindred feeling. I sometimes feel that people don’t understand and don’t care to understand. I actually had a good friend (well I thought she was) say something to me that made me realize that she didn’t believe all of the hype about mental illnesses. I was supposed to hang out with her at her house. My dr had changed my meds, only a few days earlier and they did not like me. I felt myself starting down that well that I’ve dealt with before. It was just at the beginning stage, but from experience, I knew to get help before I did something bad. When I called my friend to tell her what happened, her exact words were “Oh geez!! Get up and put on your big girl panties” I cried harder than I had for years. She broke my heart and made me feel worse about myself than I already did. Sorry for the long comment
Sorry to hear about that experience with your friend. Empathy is not for everyone, or sometimes people just start to understand the struggle when they go through it themselves. I hope you are doing better now ❤️ Much love from Belgium.

Yes! Exactly what i was thinking. While doing the work for himself through his music he is helping others in the process. Beautiful!

He really has a way of putting that emotion into his songs. Very similar things i have in my own head and thats why it resonates so much.

Thanks for watching! I have a reaction to All is Well, but a different version. Have a wonderful day.
I did see that, but you need to hear the 7 Layers Session (even if is on your own). It is extra special. @@SaeedReacts.

Love how Avi put's that in his music and is working on himself through that, but also helping other people in the process. That is a beautiful thing.

I did not know that, but you can feel in his music that he did a lot of self reflection Thanks for sharing.
Depression, addictions etc etc make life hard at times for plenty of people…the “ black dog” has sat on my shoulders at odd times.
I can relate to this 💜🫶🏼
I feel this ❤️
This song is very introspective and beautiful.❤❤
Great song and message ❤️

Thanks! Yes, this is timeless music. This message is needed for all generations.
I absolutely LOVE this song. There are only a group of people who will know what he’s talking about.
Amazing song. Very relatable for me.
As someone in recovery, this song hits hard! Avi has a magical way of speaking to your soul.
Definitely hits home.
