The UNBELIEVABLE Story of La Mer
Вставка
- Опубліковано 30 лип 2023
- Let me tell you the story of La Mer, and explain why I think it's literally unbelievable. This is also why I'd never waste money on Creme De La Mer.
Omd 😂 I'm with you on this one!
🙌🏼
😮 I knew the lore of this cream was ridiculous, but I had no idea it was THIS ridiculous.😂Thankfully, I stopped falling for the hype years ago & now only use skincare backed by scientific data. 🙏😮💨
haha it took me by surprise too!
Why hasn't Hollywood made a movie of this story yet?
Great question! Maybe I’ll try to get casted as Max Huber.
What's unbelievable is people pay $500 for this 😂
hahahahaha.....this made my day
You can mock La Mer all you want, as a 40+ woman who tried nearly all the best brands from different continents, La Mer classic cream and the concentrate are exceptional products. Give them a try for 3 months consistently and THEN judge.
Nahh I’ll judge now
That's all the reason I needed to vow to never buy anything Estee Lauder. But I wouldn't anyway because it's from France.
That's why i liked you. Good to see you back in biz🎉😊
I have read this too and it is “unbelievable” 😅😂😂😂
Does benzoyl peroxide cab exfoliate? Online has both yes and no about this.
Also, is it safe to use bp spot treatment leave on for full face even where there is no active breakout?
benzoyl peroxide does have exfoliating properties like salicylic acid has so yeah it can exfoliate and the “Bp” spot treatment you are talking about,I have no idea what on earth is that.
edit: do you mean benzoyl peroxide as bp?
@@muhammadmoazzam89000 yes benzoyl peroxide
I use it as a suppository.
Probably more benefit than on your skin 👀
Great lipsal that's all. Skin cuticles omg . Just for skin product lovers
Very funny🤣
I know retinols are alcohol based and weaker than retinoids, but would retinols be fine Islamically? It's not like your body actually absorbs the alcohol part of it, right? Just a solvent
I believe they’re fine personally, but always best to consult a scholar if you’re unsure!
@@usamasyed thanks. If you're still active on this thread/comment, any chance on giving me tips on convincing a brown parent to let me buy acne creams and not just use some haldee concoction 😂
@@StickmanVenomCookie hahaa you’re on your own with that one!!
@@StickmanVenomCookie Just tell them they won't have any grandchildren if they do not buy you the right products to treat and eliminate your acne, because who would want to marry somebody that has either a face full of acne or has a face full of acne scars?
That’s hilarious
Given the 6-fingered spirit of Max Huber depicted here I have to assume AI was used to make the art. Not saying that's wrong, just trying to hone my AI detection skills for the coming era. Content of the video is, of course, top notch.
Yep! I use Midjourney for all of my artwork so I have the rights to use them! Also, maybe Max had a 6th finger that gave him magical cream making properties... can't rule it out
@@usamasyed Is there anything that cream can't do!? 🤣
Do retinol serums work as good as tretinoin?
They can work well, but depends entirely on the formulation and the strength. A lot of companies say retinol but have almost none actually in there!
@@usamasyed pls make a vid of retinol products they sell in stores that actually are effective
@@usamasyeddoes adapalene work just as well as Tretinoin? I really want to get rid of my light red hyperpigmentation marks left after acne, they have been there for a couple of years and although have got lighter haven’t fully gone.
@@usamasyedThey only need to put 0.00001% retinol in the product and they can call it a retinol serum or retinol cream or an anti-aging moisturizer with retinol matrix.
🔥
My skin is good if i don't use any creams or any actives. Nothing means nothing .
O my goodness 😮
I know right
@@usamasyed yes
sheesh
Mhmm!
😂
unrespectful
Disrespectful - but yes, I agree, it’s very disrespectful that they trick people out of hundreds of dollars of hard-earned money.
😂😂😂How is this brand still a thing and surviving!?
And thriving! 🤦🏽♂️
Well, becos it feels different when u use it. Talking abt it is one thing but actually using is another. Ppl can debunk , discuss or even make fun of it. The fact like me still willing to spend money on (and I am a guy) because it does makes me feel good. I use to use physiogel which is cheap and good but totally convert after u tried La Mer. And no, they did not pay me to advertise but sick of too many ppl who doesn’t really use products condemning products. Rich ppl are not stupid and there are so many luxury brand around way more expensive. And this brand increases price yearly, still I buy it because it does makes me feel good. Just like why ppl spend on sports car, it’s your money, it’s your choice.
@@mikegan9382 I've used it. Rich people aren't stupid, but they're stupid with their money because they don't need to be careful. I couldn't care less if rich people decide to waste their money on La Mer, I just want to make it clear to others that there's no scientific justification for it and they shouldn't waste their hard earned money if they don't have it to spare on this BS.
😶what?!
I know, right
