so to cut the story short, if you own an fx30 but dont own a gimbal and neither a wide lens then its wise to buy the osmo pocket. coz you get the wide angle + Gimbal + ease of use + that great quality !!! having said that VNDs are a must !!
I bought this one from amazon (below) and I used a cold shoe to gopro adapter that I already had. www.amazon.com/Coyktonty-Protective-Bracket-Extension-Attached/dp/B0CPBCG5VW/ref=sr_1_21?crid=8KSILXZ1GM6F&keywords=dji+osmo+pocket+3+expansion+adapter&qid=1707404096&sprefix=dji+osmo+pocket+3+ex%2Caps%2C340&sr=8-21
@@WalkThisWay It would be too much weight on the gimbal motors. DJI has already said that there won't be any telephoto attachment for the Pocket 3. Maybe in the future iterations but I doubt it because it would require a stronger gimbal with larger motors which implies the whole device should be bigger and less portable.
The dji is insanely good
I agree. It’s very impressive! Excited to see the next version of it and the DJI Action 5 👍🏼
The Dji is impressive, it is incredible!
It could possibly be camera of the year. 🧐
You just saved me $1300usd thank you! DJI FTW 🙌🏻
it is a great little camera, enjoy the weekend! ✌

Yes, I agree. The Osmo also works well as a B-cam next to the Sony. it's decent for B-Roll too! Excited to see what the Pocket 4 will consist of...
@@WalkThisWay any confirmed news of the P4 release date ?
I haven’t heard anything yet
Like the way DJI holds the highlights. Nice comparison
For it's size, it really can show off quite well.
Coming from someone who owned a fx30. All I can say is holy shit!!That is nuts how DJi pulled that off.
It is an amazing little camera! I'm excited to see if the DJI Osmo action 5 camera will have a 1 inch sensor.
How do you set up video HDR recording on the camera? Is there a hdr video recording mode? Or should I put it on my computer to export HDR video files?
Hi.. both cameras have HLG video settings, which is a type of HDR video format.
@@WalkThisWay thank you 😍
@@thepianohouse3879 You're welcome
The DJI looks good and probably good enough for casual use, but the image coming out of the FX30 looks much better
Yes, the FX30 image quality is outstanding. The dynamic range is very good.
Omg, I own both, and perhaps I don't deserve a FX30, because I can't tell the difference.
How come? The FX30 footage looks way better
wow
Thanks for stopping by! 👍🏼
Thanks for this review. I am interested in the mount you are using. Would you mind dropping a link?

Thank you for this comparison video.!
Appreciate the comments, thanks for stopping by!
Let's not forget for ease of use, the DJI beats the Sony by a mile.
That's for sure. I can't wait for a DJI Action 5 with a 1" sensor.
Color graded or straight from the cam?
Both were 5300 white balance in HLG mode and slightly touched saturation to make the 2 footages look similar as possible.
@@WalkThisWay thank you bro. 🙏🏻
Both look good
Technology is so advanced these days, new cameras and phones have been amazing recently.
Sony has better color and depth.
you didnt compare low light
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll have to do that. 👍🏼
Dji needs to find a way to add a 50mm and 85 mm filter abd thrn it will be great
Hey now there’s an idea 💡 that would be cool…
Moment (the brand that specalizes in mobile lenses/ gear) might just be able to help with that
True, can't believe something hasn't been released yet.

They might make some kind of contraption that does it all one day
