Being a filming noob - given the same equipment and Emma as a model - I would have produced some pretty mundane and boring material. Thanks for walking us through how to achieve cinematic shots and showing us how you do them side-by-side. Really helpful. Not going to produce Hollywood material anytime soon, but this really helps to improve.

I also have that, within 1 year I got how to use it and mastered its use. But I think dji gimbals can be improved, they need new modes like "stay mode" while making videos, and you can just tilt up the handle but the phone stays in the middle for comfortable use.
just some free bonus tips as well that seem obvious when said out loud but actually helped drastically improve my work with this Gimbal: is you are a gamer or have extensive time spent gaming (specifically on controller) , i recommend inverting the setting on the analog stick so that it feels more natural to your motor functions when telling the gimbal where to point your phone . click record and then set up your shot positioning . (this means that if you want to lock the gimbal on an axis , hit record and then lock , or double ta and hold . this just makes for a much better handling experience . the final tip is really master the analog stick by using it as much as you can to learn how much pressure you must apply to get the phone to move and also how fast you want it to move.

I have both SE and 6 and sadly, with DJI Mimo in android phones lacks essential control over photography parameters like manual control, some only available in iPhone, over ISO, EV, f, shutter speed, WB, histogram, etc... Workaround if you're using Samsung S21 to 25 ultra (108 to 200 MP Quad main camera), is to run Samsung native Camera with the Mobile 6, or even install complementary app Samsung Raw for lossless Raw option -- gives most of the advance photography options, 4 to 8k cinematic option, and manual controls you only typically find in mirrorless expensive SLRs! Note also that if you own one, the remote shutter control of tripods works so long linked with Bluetooth together with voice command and hand gesture. Hope this helps.

I have the osmo mobile 6 and I think the active Trak is great but it needs some work with multiple people in the background and how the motors react to it cause it is kinda slow. this is all my personal opinion but it is some stuff that I think DJI could work on.

Subscribed! So, if you shoot 60fps so you can slow it down, are you dropping it on a 24fps timeline? What if you don’t want EVERYTHING to be slow … do you shoot 24fps until you want the slow stuff?
Yes I drop it in a 24fps timeline and then slow it down however you don‘t have to slow it down if you want it to be played back in regular speed. It just looks a bit different than when you shooting in 24fps. 24fps looks more natural to the eye.

Just rotate the analogue on the side. If you press it, it will switch between zoom or focus. Make sure it's on focus
