    Being able to fly and place a bridge over any gap where their is one….perfection. Also you should see if it would actually work as a bridge

    So the “airbouyancy” is called autorotation the air flowing over the blades as it falls makes them spin and generate lift so it acts as a parachute

    • @MGSLurmey
      @MGSLurmey 2 роки тому +10

      This, though the effect here is drastically overexaggerated due to the relatively light body compared to the huge wing area this thing has. Plus these wings aren't designed for use as helicopter blades, so their lift coefficient is probably way too high for this application.

    • @sneakysoviet9
      @sneakysoviet9 2 роки тому +6

      @@MGSLurmey That just makes them even more hilarious to use as helicopter blades, and considering where a lot of the flight based stuff is placed in the campaign, kinda necessary if you don't build planes, or are terrible at doing so. The one major failing of the game in my opinion, is that for as advanced as the air vehicle design is, and the physics surrounding them, there's no way to view the center of mass, or center of lift. Air vehicles in Trailmakers are particularly hard, because it's mostly guesswork.

    You need to remap your controls to the arrow keys. If you use the up arrow key for lift and the down arrow key for negative lift. Use the left a right keys to rotate (You can achieve this by having rotor 1 and 4 move at a higher speed that rotors 2 and 3 to rotate right, and vice versa for left). Use WASD for movement. Simple

    A single coaxial helicopter can actually gain rotational authority by varying the power sent to one of the rotors, so the original Brinook could use that effect to be able to rotate, coupled with the pitch control that RCE had, you'd have full control authority (though the methods don't really resemble how actual helicopters work).

  • @InservioLetum
    @InservioLetum Рік тому

    Counterrotation is exactly what it sounds like : the engine turns the rotor one way, but since nothing is holding the chassis still, the engine also turns the chassis (yaw) the other way (counter-rotating) with the same torque. To stop the chassis turning, a tail rotor pushes sideways against the yaw from the engine, holding the chassis in place, and allowing turning by varying how hard the tail rotor pushes.
    Two rotors stacked one atop the other and spinning in opposite directions, means the yaw from each blade cancels the other out, so you no longer need a tail rotor. To steer, a hinge under the rotor assembly allows you to direct the downwash of the rotors, moving you forward back and strafing side to side. To turn, change the power ratio between the two rotors to change the net yawing effect.
    Option two is two seperate rotors, one at each end, spinning in opposite directions to cancel the yaw from each rotor, but would require a second hinge to allow for steering on both front and back rotor so you can steer by leaning the front rotor one way, and the back rotor the other.

    Can you play MMORPG tycoon 2
    It's a game where u customise a whole game about whatever you like.
    U can add enemies like "bandit" and give them glasses and rename them architect with a custom attack of "forced studying of architecture" which will damage players.
    It's a really good game and I hope u can give it a try.
    Ps. Love your channel and everything you do

    Damn someone who doesn’t play high seas only now very rare I like when the game isn’t all dark and has water that high seas and I hate it also helpful tip angle the wings to make a true heli and make it so the wings angle up and down so you have control you can watch scrapman video on this aka a lot less wings so much more control and power so you can go down with the wings and go up with them

    I think you should do a tiltrotor helicopter.*It would have much easier time using it as there is no need for a tilt beneath the propeller as you can just tilt the whole "wing" the propeller sits on. You do not even need necessarily a third propeller to steer as you can just tilt only the other wing or even one forwards and the other one backwards to spin around. The overall design would require the least amount of knowledge on helicopter mechanics imo.
