Haha, I chopped up a bunch of garlic & basil earlier tonight, and the smell is still with me....so I felt like I was right there in Pasquale's kitchen while watching the video.
When the man says its good, he means it!
Chef is a carboncopy of my Dad, passed in 06, we miss him everyday....

This recipe is so simple but so delicious - I added extra garlic, lots, because I just love garlic!!! Great as a side dish and as a main course if you already had meat during the day. I can't wait to try the spaghetti all 'Assassina, knowing myself, with extra pimiento!!!

I made a little variation, had about ½ an oh yeah baby and diced it up and sauteed it with the garlic, still used the hot pepper flakes as well. Didn't have basil, but I had some baby arugula and added that instead. So delicious.

Great recipe, we make it a little different, but it’s the same idea and very similar. Delicious, I like it almost better the next day reheated, the flavors all make love together. So simple but so good
That's why I love cooking. So many different variations to try and tastes so good. Depends on the day too if you want to add a little more of this or that or a whole new ingredient too. Salute 🍷

@MiamiBeach xxx The cheese he uses is caciocavallo, but his recipe is a bit different from the original one which is called "Spaghetti alla nerano". The original recipe contains a different cheese from what he used called Provolone. Moreover in the original recipe there's also a bit of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
