Yikes! Take a look at the closed captioning for Sub Zero, Wolfe & Cove section...Other than that, great video!

Fantastic overview. And so true regarding finding out service options in your area before making decision. I had Miele microwave, oven and dishwasher installed in my new condo almost 16 years ago, had to replace the microwave and dishwasher less than 5 years in, continual problems multipled by the realization only one recommended service provider in my area and he was notoriously unreliable. Any new appliances moving forward I will contact the big service companies and ask them which appliances they had to service the most and will stay far away from them!

Any thoughts on Heston for indoor products? It sounds like they make some really great grills for outdoors. They seem smaller than most companies, but claim to have a big footprint in commercial kitchens? I am fascinated with their outdoor products, but just curious as to why the indoor does not make the list.

Good question....we didnt have luck selling their range. Not sure what products other than the range are unique.

What are your thoughts on 36” ranges versus 48”? If you have the space, is it worth it? Also, do you think the wolf all gas should be skipped since it is underpowered (go for dual fuel)?

Thats up to you....What would you use? Wolf all gas is great for griddle, grill, and French top. Its is a bit underpowered. However, when I started at Yale the max burner was 8-10,000 BTU.

Would like to see Gaggenau dishwashers included in your dishwasher comparison reviews with the Miele and Cove dishwashers. Liking the racking design and push to open on the Gaggenau dishwashers. They seem to be overlooked in Yale appliance reviews. How do they wash? Do they have longevity?

Gaggenau? Its a better Bosch dishwasher with better hinging.

Made in the same factory as Thermador...Its a popular style. They will have a French door out, and the promotions are pretty compelling

Why don’t you include Cove dishwasher in your comparisons? Are they just a poor product? Would love to see them included in your comparisons to know where they stand. Thanks!

So would I...but they have had production problems. When they free up, we will start comparing.

Steve, could have been clearer that True under counter products can fit a panel, something I learned from your videos! Only the full size products can't have a panel.

I’ve used the Bosch CSO and it’s a fine appliance. However, I definitely prefer the Wolf CSO as of 2024.

Why dont you do a video exposing the drought of options between $2000 to $6000 until you get to the first WOLF? Remodeling and getting new appliances, you cant get away from the cheap whirlpool look until you get some of the $1500-2500 stainless slide in options. Reading reviews from these $2000 ranges and $5000+ ranges (kitchenaide, zline, kutch, GE, bosch, ect.) all tell you they should have just spent less for a cheaper oven that is simple (and can buy again immediately) or spend more to get a quality product like Wolf. From $2k to $6k all the ovens seem to have issues with burners working properly, electric elements for the oven burning out, oven having chips, oven not heating evenly and support telling them to just rotate or increase oven temp to compensate, knobs breaking, writing on nobs and steel wearing out after a year of ownership, touch screens going out, adjacent cabinets heating up when Oven is on, 3week minimum time between you having an issue and someone trying to resolve it over the phone or email, the need to wait months for a technician to come by, and items you might need in 5-10years being discontinued and no longer stocked like those knobs you will damage or wear out.

Well, this video was on luxury appliances. I have other videos planned for how to buy a package from $2-10,000. You may want to check out our affordable luxury video as well.

Have you ever heard of Latelier Paris ranges? I've been using their design your own feature and comparing to la cornue ranges. They seem to be interesting with 30k BTU burners and induction options. Also have you heard of Pitt stoves? They're an interesting option since they can be built directly into the countertop but I've never seen them in person.

I really haven't...heard of Pitt. Other stoves to consider will be Moltini.

Another beautiful, customizable and made-to-order french range is Lacanche.
