      Beko dishwashers have a feature called Ion guard, which basically is fans that activate every little while and completely filter the air inside the dishwasher.
      This completely gets rid if humidity and smells. You can store clean or dirty dishes in there for weeks and it wouldn't have a smell
      What's a shame is that in my region they sell the dishwasher with either half load or ion guard, between them I rather go with ion guard but being able to do a half load would be very convenient as I live alone

    A feature i have in my oven that i absolutely love is a setting for dough to rise which is 30-60 degrees (Celsius) that i can choose …works so good for people who bake a lot plus i also use it for homemade yoghurt

      That sounds like a super awesome feature, I've never heard of that myself! As a baker myself that sounds amazing!

      I have a bread proof option on my oven, the biggest downside is that the bread deflates too much from the time when you pull it from the oven to when you can stick it back in when the oven is up to baking temp. I usually end up using the warming drawer (where the pans live) to proof my doughs.

    I like the pop open feature on the dishwashers to aid in drying, bit is this a bad idea if you have wood countertops? I'm worried the steam would warp them.

    Super useful video. I had all these features, as I found them important, but most people told me I am a geek. Now I have more confidence it was money well spent.
    I would add one more for the washing machine: weight measurment. It tells how loaded up it is. I used to measure the kg on small scale, but this is much faster.

    can you make a video about scent boosters? products that make your laundry smell nice (like essential oil + wool balls)?

    • @BoulevardHome
      @BoulevardHome  7 місяців тому +3

      We'll add it to our list, thanks for the suggestion! We've done something similar to that in our video about fabric softeners, but not specifically scent boosters. I'd imagine a lot of the same things could be applied to scent boosters though. You can check that out here if you're interested: ua-cam.com/video/8Y3RpTEfH0M/v-deo.htmlsi=kM59_Wk2oVMfC1oo

      I have seen that video. From what I heard scent boosters dont have much fabric softening and have much more fragrance, so there probably is a difference. Would love to hear more about other products (scent boosters, wool balls, stain removers, etc)@@BoulevardHome

    Great information!!!! If adding a griddle to the middle section do you have to have the griddle elongated burner or can you use the regular 5th burner?

    Would powder detergent be better long term for your washing machine longevity vs liquid or pods?

    I wish microwaves let you set a default power level. I would set my default to 50-60% and adjust my reheating times. If i needed or wanted to heat something fast then I could manually change the power level to 100%. Didn't know about the Humidity sensor that is cool! Inverter microwaves are awesome too! I can run mine on the same 15A outlet with my induction cooktop and not trip the breaker.

      @BoulevardHome  7 місяців тому +2

      That would be pretty cool if you could set those default power settings for microwaves that don't have a humidity sensor!

    Here’s my issue with the smart dispense on the washers; my Samsung toploader doesn’t even give the right amount of water for a load. How is it supposed to dispense the proper amount of detergent? I would LOVE to go back to a front loader, but my machine is only 3 years old 😢

    A “super useful setting is convection”!?🤯🤯… Its an oven, it bloody should have convection!!
    If it doesn’t have convection… walk, in fact run away!!

    Are you serious? Modern dishwashers do not have heating elements anymore? That was a big feature and an important feature government needs to get the hell out of everything.

      lots of dishwashers still have heating elements, not sure where he got that information from....my whirlpool has a very hot dry cycle using an element ..I can see it in the bottom
