- What's a french heritage icon? Enter the La Cornue range. They're handmade out of steel, copper, and brass and finished in trademark colorful enamel since 1908.
With first-class performance on the cooktop and in the oven, it's no mystery why Joanna Gaines chose it for her studio kitchen. With tons of options for their CornuFe and newer Le Chateau models, it's definitely hard to pick the perfect one. That's where we come in!
In this video, we’ll introduce you to this French heritage brand, walk you through the different cooktop surfaces and oven options, and help you design the perfect configuration, size, and color that suits your cooking and kitchen style.

This was an incredibly informative video. I’ll never be able to afford one of these, but really great job explaining everything.
Fantastic review. Best I've seen.
Thank you for making these videos! I’ve watched a bunch on your channel and they’ve been tremendously helpful and informative as we make decisions for our new kitchen . Bummed that we live outside of your service area!
Thanks so much for your kind words! So glad we can help :-)
Dream range!
I'm buying this for my kitchen.
Can you put a full sheet pan into one of the ovens of Cornufe 110?f
We just be asked if we clean one these ranges. At £55,000 for the Cornue 120 range in the UK we decided to give it a miss. Looking at professionally cleaning it, it wouldn't be easy and would take a long time.
Hey you, scrolling down the comments, Have a great day! From Chicago
Thanks for stopping by, you too! 😀
I need one
Love love love
Curious to know how easy these are to have serviced if ever needed?
Same here, if im spending that kind of money for a heirloom appliance, i expect parts availability into the multiple decade range. Along with full service manual availability to the end user.
Why doesn’t anyone talk about the vent. I want to know how much noise it makes.
Born in France, Grew up in France, Never left France. First time i see a La Cornue. *Made in Birmingham, England.* Ah i see, c'est la vie.
The Chateau Ranges should be made in France. The English ones are budget ranges.
What brand is considered a high end range in France? Thanks
Is the 1908 still available?
Unfortunately, the 1908 version (which was released in 2012) is no longer available for purchase.
I'm curious about Ina Garten Lacanche French Range. She paid $17'000 just wondering which one she has?
I'm here because of Sofia Vergara. ♡
Me too 😂

THIS IS A JEWEL IS MY DREAM BUT I CAN NOT AFFORD .
I'm surprised that in your drawbacks list, you didn't include the absence of a window . . . it's just not practical or efficient to not be able to peek at your food without opening the door
In France the methods of cooking are not what we are used to in the U.S. Practicality is subjective. These are beautiful ranges that are designed for cooking at a different pace. Adding a glass window would be sacrilege to the French. I know it sounds snooty, but that's just the way it is.
If you want a window on it just dont choose this brand, this is the style of the brand “vintage style”. Most of people choose this brand because their vintage style. I mean if you’re rich just buy seperate one.
It's meant for you to stick a knife inside of it to see if it is done.
just got my custom La Cornue after months of waiting and it was not even the right color. Not only this, the tried to claim it was just a new name for the same color. I photographed the original sample next to the range and sent it to the retailer I ordered it from, and we all learned something about La cornue. They aren't above trickery, and they don't care if it inconveniences their customers because we are not usually able to turn away a range. It ruins our remodel project. But in my case, I said NO, TAKE it BACK, and I will not buy from them again. They have no integrity and think American customers are idiots, apparently.
It could also be a miscommunication between the dealer and the company, or just a mistake of the dealer.
@@unconventionalideas5683 i have the email confirming the supposed color from the rep so it is not the dealer.
Well the French do hate American's. There's that. But thanks for the heads up! I just asked for a quote, but based on your review I will not place an order. Many thanks! And best of luck. What a suckie situatiion.
LaCornue is owned by a british group itself owned by an American conglomerate
@@foodie184the French hate Americans but the company is American owned 😂. How do allow one negative review to dissuade you?
My biggest issue with La Cornue is that you can’t integrate them with a Modern Design house.
I’ve seen multiple modern homes with these and it looks great
@@anthonyheron6811 even with Modern Handleless kitchens like those from
Bulthaup and Poliform?
I will never be able to afford one of these
Yes, you will! Just save! Even if it takes 10 years.
It makes me sad that with all those colour people overwhelmingly go for bland.
Wtf, 30K for a fooking stove?!?
Yep. They’re the Cooking range brand, to what Hästens is to mattresses.
Actually, they're closer to $55k for the Château series.
Chateau Supreme Grand Palais by Ferris Rafauli is over 200,000 USD.
@@michaelhorgan9525 ok.
Thanks for sharing
Expensive show pony for rich house frau's who'll never use it.
Jealous?
Actually, most of La Cornue's customers are really rather ordinary people who are very passionate about cooking and have often saved for years to buy a La Cornue. They do get people like those you are talking about, and they know very well how to work with them, but they are not necessarily the majority.
