It may be worth waiting a month between cannabis week and non-cannabis week for you VO2 max experiment so you are at the same menstrual phase cause that can play a big part in energy levels. Also, puts both weeks at a neutral start rather than a back to back week. The second week may be impacted by being so focused on the experiment rather than regular routine.
excellent, we used to work with athletes first to get them off of opiods but we also realized that cannabis is a good way to get into flow state. I def perform better when I competed with cannabis then without.
I love THC in the morning just before workout. Its so enhanching and yes the runner high is freaking amazing. My strength is off the charts. Great vid!
I think there’s a great sweet spot when smoking. I train bjj and it’s amazing for after…I’ve rolled while being just semi-high and I did just fine, no difference in performance other than me feeling like I’m in the “groove” lol. Overall I think it’s up to the user tbh. Thanks for the video!
I'm a prescription medical user for stopping Nerve pain, though I have briefly tried a light DHV as a pre-workout before weights though I'd say I get the most benefit is while doing Yoga stretches when it helps you zone into your stretches and feel the breathwork release better into those tight areas. I could literally meditate while stretching my Piriformis!
I used to do a bit of the ol Jack Herer (best strain IMO) before hitting the rock climbing gym, and I def felt more connected to my body vs climbing sober. Like I was just more mindful of my movements and my movements just felt more fluid, like there was precision that wasn't there when I was sober.

I would have never thought to try cannabis for working out or running. Usually a good workout feels so much better than when I’ve used cannabis. Not sure how that works but I guess the best way to describe it is something called runners high? I think that feeling is so much better. I’m not a doctor but I’m sure endorphins are involved. I dont think it’s performance enhancing. I do think it’s sensory enhancing. MANY years ago when was physically active , working out every day like 30 years ago. My recovery was a hot shower and 32 oz bottle of Gatorade. I wasn’t an Olympic athlete so that’s all I needed. I’m pretty sure a person that just ran a marathon would get zero recovery enhancement hitting a bong. What I do know is cannabis extracts don’t offer the same medicinal value that smoking flower does. Mother nature got it right.
