I edited this video 7 times. Personally contacted UA-cam who provided no answers. And Finally got it up in some form. So forgive the edits. I have the full video on Patreon, and I promise one day I will get this video on youtube. But I imagine this will be gone very soon. It is why the name is so bland. Can you believe it, even editing the name of this video got it taken down. I honestly do not know what the issue is with this. Sorry everyone. I feel deeply sorry to make such edits in the video; it takes away from it immensely. I wish youtube could provide an answer. I have the best subs in the world. You guys are awesome. I have the best subscribers on youtube.

Have a great week. I look forward to waking up tomorrow and working on a new script. Sorry for not mentioning everyone in this video, I will in the Wednesday video.
I do not know what it is with 'this video' and 'this story'. But regardless :) We have more stories to tell.

Can I ask; are you a writer? I mean if you don't write you should. You have a real gift. Thank you so much for sharing it here and for telling these stories, of these women. I have been with you since Ann Woodward; but really you only get better. Sorry it's been a hard week and your story made me emotional. 🥰

I saw the full one when you released it. I know UA-cam is weird about stuff- but if what happened is history and the truth, they need to lighten up. I’ve seen much worse on here that has apparently either slipped by or that they approved.

I also saw the first one, and couldn't imagine what they are objecting to, especially in light of some of the stuff on UA-cam. Anyway, this was as touching this time as last; what an interesting woman. Extremely talented, sensitive, impulsive, adventurous, courageous, and easily bored, she defied the expectations placed on women in her times. Thank you for your amazing and sensitive portrait of this often troubled woman.

It seems to me it is just the growing censorship that we can expect more of come January. It's utterly ridiculous. They make people edit, bleep or not say far more words than network television ever did!

@@barbarapaige4587 I kept reportng a channel where some disgusting grown man advocats for lowering the level of consent because young people were "ready" much earlier. He babbled on about similar crazy things. He had been charged for his disgusting words in his home country. UA-cam did NOTHING. That tells me a lot!

A fine video from MythicWomen.. An absorbing narrative of the growth and development of a unique creative spiritr, interplaying with the world of 1920s and 30s fashon and surealist art, then serving as a witness, photographing the savage brutality of World War II, and finally a long denouement in marriage and motherhood, and grounding on a farm in the English countryside. A very moving portrait of a remarkable woman with an Indomitable soul. Bravo to MythicWoman for this moving portrait of Lee Miller.

Wow. The complex layers upon layers of Lee Miller... throw in some Freudian salt and pepper combined with the inescapably ruptured trauma of her childhood molestation... artistically brilliant... blithe, beguiling devourer (and "devouree"?) of men entwined with a soul of true fearlessness... fragility still bleeds through the bravado. Rest in peace, Lee.

Before reading your Pinned paragraph I started listening to the video...to my astonished face, I had already hear this particular story. I see you had to re do it/re edit or whatever; due to UA-cam guidelines. I feel sorry for you when UA-cam comes up with weird ideas. I wonder if it's programmed to catch certain words not approved. Then kick the video out. At any rate, you have us good followers and we understand. Loved the story of Lee Miller a woman who lived ahead of her time, a woman whose purpose in life was her War Chronicles. I love the film in motion of the 1800's. My grandfather had a camera like the one shown, his hobby was photography. Thank you again for your effort and excellent research. Have a great weekend from Texas Elizabeth C. 💖💐

@@twilightpurpleglow I watch some cold case channels as well, and old crimes etc. I think bigger channels are afforded more luxury. I do not know. I mean the Swans video is up. But demonetized, because of the slur that Lee used to describe Truman. This video was taken down, because of the description of bodies at Dachow, and now i think my channel is just in a bad state with the algorithm so everything is flagged.

THANK YOU….What A WONDERFUL LIFE this Woman had….Doing things back in those Days were Taboo….As All Women when We AGE Life
Is NEVER the Same but for Most Men they can continue NOT FAIR but a Fact….Her Last Years to me we’re SAD but She LIVED the MOST
Exciting one that’s probably WHY She was so unhappy with her Older years….

I felt exhausted after watching it, but it was worth watching and done well. A life forever scarred by her early trauma. The daredevil 'open love' no doubt a byproduct of that trauma, never really works for anyone. Emotional holocaust.

She remember me of Italian Journalist Oriana Fallaci: she worked with the camera , the other one with her pen to communicate the horrors of war to her audience. How could she sustain and process those horrors? Same for Oriana.

The common theme of all these women is me, me, me, I, I, I. Looks like a classic bi-polar personality. Wait, the only thing that brought her peace and made her feel alive was documenting the death and destruction of humanity through war. Goodness.

A child violently sexually attacked and physically damaged has fostered no compassion in you. As you may or may not know, that event likely changed her ability to relate to her own feelings. That PTSD is life long. Emotions of love and self respect are constantly and forever undercutting any sense of self worth. Some become totally withdrawn or others overly sexual. Additionally, her ambition is not to be disrespected if her hard earned efforts were not at the expense of others. Adopting the male persona provides the confidence to be independent in a male dominated world. She worked and sought to learn. That’s admirable in any sense of the word.

Yes Kate's movie is based on the book by her son Anthony Penrose, a good book, but much shorter than her definitive biography. As he son, obviously leaves out many of the more intimate details of his mother's life.

What a sad life. Who cares about all her travels and art. No one will remember in time. She was a loose woman. No real family life. Abortions. Emptiness. What a sad life. Truly tragic.
