That was he best play in his career IMO. He caught a bullet from Rodgers and outran a Darrelle Revis in his prime to barely get the ball against the Pylon. The crowd reaction says it all
one of the best WRs in this generation. The Jordy/Aaron pairing is right up there with the likes of Rice/Montana, Manning/Harrison and Brady/Gronk. THey were lethal together
they weren't good, they were great. Jordy tore his ACL in 2015 and the following year had the most TD's in the NFL... that's more than good. Jordy consistently embarrassed his defenders.@@nicholas4727
The only person that needs to complain as Aaron Rodgers because of Jordy Nelson Has Butterfingers and he sucks the man dropped countless passes in the Superbowl no way on Earth could he ever be talked about in the same sentence as any of the even average wide receivers
@@eeNORMous1 early in Jordys career he did drop alot. But after the Superbowl season he was the second best receiver Rodgers ever had, after Davante Adam's. Jordy had underrated speed the suprised defenders and he always knew where Rodgers wanted him. The connection between those two was elite. I disagree with you. I think Jordy was fantastic
Nelson is a Packer Hall of Famer at the very least. Having only gotten into football in around 2000, I watched Jordy his entire career and am a huge fan. I'll watch you with the Raiders... But I don't like that your gone. #thankyouJordy87
Him and Rodgers have most passing yards for a qb to receiver in franchise history. He'll make the ring of honor, they had such fantastic chemistry. When plays were broken and they improvised is when they were most dangerous.
One of the most memorable Packer player for me, and definitely going to miss Jordy Nelson in Green/Gold. We'll be cheering for you no matter where you go Jordy, and you will be missed in GB.
This is mad disrespect this video needs to be longer than 6 minutes and I know this vid needs to be longer but man I’m gonna miss you Jordy😢😢😢😢😤🤧🤧🤧🤧 Oakland better take care of you
When Jordy left the Packers due to management it broke my heart. He was one Rodgers go to receivers not many people know that. That combo was crazy , and then not to long they lose Cobb. Management took his weapons away. People don't understand that and management gave him no weapons in the last couple years. I loved that Rodgers to Jordy connection. It was one of the best, under rated I'd say.
People never understood why Rodgers was so upset with management. When they let Nelson go even though he was willing to pay for pennies. It's like you having a favorite pet that's a dog and asking your parents not to get rid of it. Then the next day your dog is gone and they come home with a bunny or a hamster. Wouldn't that piss you off?
@@doofapotamus2323 I remember Aaron said " when the people are the foundation and players are a part of it, the management seems to forget where it came from. They let go of pieces of the foundation. "
@@quairan2099 Fair enough. Give Rodgers a look. Any video. Literally any video will let you in on how insane that man actually is. This is just one of his favorite targets. He's had about 10 in his career.
He’s not a deep threat anymore. He seems to have lost some speed because of age and the ACL injury, but he’s still got nice hands and runs nice routes. I think he’s best utilized as a slot receiver like Larry Fitzgerald.
My signed jersey by Jordy will forever be retired. I picked his jersey up a few years ago as I thought he would retire as a Packer. It was a pleasure watching him rise from the number 4 receiver to the number one. Hope he finds success with the Raiders.
Jordy has that football speed. Wasn't crazy fast at the combine (4.5) but he doesn't slow down a bit with the pads on unlike a lot of players. Miss watching him burn guys on the sideline, bro was electric
I'll miss watching the Rodgers-Nelson connection. They were a great combo. I had him on my Fantasy roster several times. I hope he does well in Oakland with Carr.
The day the Packers drafted Jordy Nelson my neighbor told me that the Packers drafted some farmer from Kansas. That evening the local sports station showed his highlights from college and my wife said that she thought he would be a very special player. My wife knew nothing about football but she became a Jordy Nelson fan. When Jordy announced his retirement I reminded my neighbor what he originally said the day of the draft and I told him "not bad for a farmer from Kansas".
What was great about him was he was a well respected guy. Never got into trouble with the law. Didn't dance in the end zone. Gave the ball back to the refs after he scored. Never got chippy with other teams players. He just did his job. He worked hard every day. He would help the community out. He had so much chemistry with Rodgers. Aaron trusted him. Those back shoulder catch he made them look so easy. He's got great hands. Runs great routes and never gives up on a play. It's not his fault he had a down year last season. Hundly had no chemistry with him. Plus he sucked. But hell he was good with Rodgers. He will be 33 this May but that's just age. I know he still has a lot left in him. Just sucks that he's not with us anymore. Well respected guy and a great player. I hope him and his family the best in Oakland.
Jordy, my favorite packer player besides Farve!!! What a real team....Jordy and Rodgers...they were great together!!!! WE MISS YOU JORDY.....YOU WERE AMAZING!!!
Adam’s got alotnof credit for being Aaron’s best receiver but I feel like Jordy Nelson was his actual best old reliable beast player that always came thru when we needed him. Miss this guy and his integrity
5:40 listen to Romo yell TOUCHDOWN!!! Everyone knows he is a big Packer fan from growing up in Wisconsin. Hilarious hearing him get excited about the Packers even when he is calling the game
although he's a raider, he'll always be remembered as a packer
Aaron Rodgers #12Hunnit #Clutch #2017MVP #GoPackGo Hey, its better than NE or some team in the north
AR12WRIST that's true
Same with Woodson too right? ;)
Donavon Howard In the red zone and on 3rd down, you can certainly count on him. I hope for the best for him and the Raiders
Amen
Come on NFL, you missed 2014 GB vs New England, Nelson beat Revis and caught the ball for 50+ yards for the TD before halftime
That was he best play in his career IMO. He caught a bullet from Rodgers and outran a Darrelle Revis in his prime to barely get the ball against the Pylon. The crowd reaction says it all
Was right in front of the pylon for that play, favorite Jordy memory by far Lambeau went nuts
yea, these nfl comilation guys miss plays all the time
Hopefully they can edit that into the video.
S. Li I remember that game I’m a Patriots fan and watching it made me want to die, it was a pretty good game though if I remember correctly
One of my favorite Packer of all time
S. Li same. I’ll miss him. Hope jimmy graham was actually worth it.

Just keep an eye on how many of these big plays took place in the last 2 minutes of the game. This dude was clutch as hell

Joey Snow1 Damn straight they don’t wanna show our boys some love
I agree
Very underrated, crazy he is only a 1-time pro bowler but if he catches the ball, he makes the best cut out of anybody 1:04
he did get snubbed some years, he should have at least 3
because he got overshadowed by Megatron, AB, Julio, and Steve Smith.
S. Li so does amari cooper they should be a nasty tandem
He just was messed up with Hunley. They didn’t have a rhythm like Rodgers
yeah lol hundley always have his 3 go to move ball snap hundley drop back 15 yards dump off to a running back or run...lol what a trash he was lol
My favorite Packer. I'll miss him forever. The epitome of what it meant to be a Green Bay Packer. Thank You Jordy. All of Green Bay will miss you
