This vid might have made you the GOAT. Sending tracks to a mixer tomorrow. Now I can bounce him the dry synths and print those synths being run through their track stacks and fx. He can comp/EQ the dry tracks however he wants and still use my fx bounces as a guide for his FX choices, if nothing else. Thanks Chris.
This is great. It answered the exact question I have been struggling to answer. I want to print the delay for a track to a new audio track so I can the. Edit the printed effects to create throws and to position the delay where and when I prefer. Brilliant!
Great great great tips from heaven :):):):): I tried to bounce my delay channel to an audio track and the same issue, now it's worked :) But with the electronic kit or other multi-out instruments like Kontakt, I can able to select the output aux channels and bounce them via 'track in place', it renders all the individual tracks like ROOM, OVERHEAD or AMBIANCE ..etc. No need to add an empty region on the tracks.
Exactly what I was looking for! As always, I can't say thank you enough for making all this information free...you've made me a Logic expert during these times of quarantine. Still working up to master but I've watched every video you've put out and am getting there :)
What if i use a send effect on multiple instrument tracks? Is there a way to export each instrument track with the send effect printed on them without bouncing each track one by one? This takes way too much time..
Thanks for explaining this so well. I was struggling with getting my Reverb Aux to print on export. The CMD+B interface has changed as far as options, but trial and error got it done.
Wow. So happy about the #3 way! Man, thank you, Chris. I've literally been trying to figure out if there was that specific way. I appreciate your videos very much.✊🏼💥
I have a track where the input is the bus with all the effects I want to record, but there is something weird happening to me, the track only records a dry signal with no effects, what I'm doing wrong?
How are you doing? How is one room? Is there a way or technique when you record it? Multiple tracks like I did on accidents. Can I separate those tracks to make them individual tracks?
Thanks for your great videos. Can you make a video of how to have a Summing Group within a Summing Group within a Summing Group? And is there any way to make a 'rack' in Logic - say a sequence you often do - save it - and use when the special sequence needs to be applied. It's possible in fx Ableton, Bitwig...
hey quick question, when trying to mute isolated sends it also mutes my OG drummer track and vice versa? Any idea on how to change this. Also thanks for the video super helpful
it doesnt work for me, i presume cause my reverb is an external one. do you know how to do with an external rack unit? i know that if i bounce the project it have to be in real time but for the bounce in place or export i dont have that option thank you
Thanks for this ..Just to be clear .. when you bounce the reverb track .. ALL you get from that track is the reverb sound right ?. So a mixer would have to use two tracks ( dry and reverb) to replicate your sound ? Isn’t 5his defeating part of the reason why we use sends .. to save on CPU etc.. .. do other DAWS do this in a better way ... also , if you just solo the track and bounce the whole project through the stereo bus , wouldn’t 5his. Relate a bounce if the send effects included ?. Are there other issues with this ? ...Hope that makes sense
My question how would set it up so i Logic can record only the reverb or any effects only to a audio track so you now have the option to do layering any Effects from any plugins to create unique sounds Please I been trying to figure this out and just not smart enough
Do you have a video where you show how to comp vocal tacks? Especially if it involves overlap? So the end result would be one comped stereo track rather than 2 or 3 or more, so I can process that one. I guess it would involve cross fading? I’m kinda new - sorry if this is a bad question.
Chris, I tried this but the create track option on my project is greyed out. I also tried the shortcut, it says that it isn’t available because there are no channel strips selected. Although I have the Aux track highlighted. Any clue? Thanks
Great channel and blog, Chris! Quick question: I'm trying to implement the 3rd option but when I hit ctrl+B, lLogic comes back with "Command not available bc there are no bounceable regions". Everything looks the same as it does on your screen. What could be the reason for this behavior? Thank you.

Ajudou demais! Com certeza essa última dica ajuda demais a separar as peças de uma bateria programada no Ezdrummer e converter em áudio! Valeu!!!

Thanks so much for the comment Mat Carfi! I don't, but a video on comping in Logic has been on my to-do list. Keep an eye out for it!
This is awesome!

I'm having this same issue.
Great!
Sooooo helpful
The 3rd 🤩

Hey Irina S! In that case you'll want to use Ctrl - Command - B to bounce the track :)
What the! But what is the point in even using a bus. This so so frustrating when trying to export vocals!
Thank u sir 🤘🏾
No prob!
Awesome
Thank you...
Thank you Aleks for checking out the channel!
Ninja hacks man 🎉🎉🎉
When I want to export a file w/FX I just export that section as an MP3 and it captures the FX.
Good info thx 🎛
Thank you for checking out the video!
cool
Apple needs to fix this.
such a pain! :(
Nah brother, you Rules!
