Hi its me again , i was wondering if i could have any contact from u like number or insta , i am an as level student and i have some doubts and i was hoping u could clear them since i really love your videos and recommended it to 10+ friends , please let me know
Won’t the carbon bonded to the two hydrogen atoms form water as well? You said it only forms carbon dioxide molecules
It does form H2CO3 intermediate followed by release of water and co2
Please never delete these videos , u r a life saver , i will do A2 chemistry from your videos and like every video too when i am in A2 , please never quiet , u r great ❤
I have lab test tomorrow and i have a question Sir when i pour distilled water in the volumetric flask my water level always goes beyond the line by approx one cm3 even if i pour drop by drop. Any tips on how to reduce this error and if it has effect on fhe reading
I am very sorry I'm late. Pls react out so i can help u before caies
Use the bottle with tip nozzle. Then go near a sink and drip a lil water. When u. Stop it saves few drops in the pipe, then take ur flask and add those drops
You are a genius my guy. I got my 95% because of you
Chem in 40mins 🫲😢🫱
your videos are genuinely so good!!!!
FINALLY A VIDEO THAT CLEARS MY CONCEPTS
For the last question, how did u get 2 moles of HCL and 1 moles of H2SO4 ratio?
Sir, in experiment 2, you were supposed to add distilled water to the beaker with the same large measuring cylinder after pouring 30 cm3 FB1 into the beaker. But you mistakenly added the distilled water it to the smaller measuring cylinder while FB2 was in it...
Ive replied this on other comments. It doesn’t matter as were mixing everything eventually
"My search finally ends here."👍
Sir is playlist mei sab cover horaha hai? My papers after a week would u know kya asakta hai sir?
Everything on quantittive
The goat of chemistry ✨️✨️
Thanks man
Hi sir, was just wondering if reading 2 and 4 are concordant but reading 3 isn't - will we take an average for only readings 2 and 4 and not write down the recording of reading 3?
Yes. Only count the concordant ones
better if we receive the notes
I'll have them posted in description
Well explained ❤ saved me 😊
will this be enough for exam? mines day after tmr
Yes .. but obv more practice is needed
Will this playlist be enough for my chemistry 5070 ATP exam?
Yes
👍👍
Thnks I just understood what was going from 2 weeks in our school ♥️
Happy to help
7:13 sir can you explain where we comparing the volume used to (in order for us to see that it’s in the 0.1 range) ?
The difference between two titrations should be 0.1 If it's more, you need another titration
During heating , how water is evoprated if we are using lid. Answer as soon as possible please as tomorrow is my exam 😢
Its basically vaporisation. If you're heating, even the lid is hot so vapors don't condense thete rather they keep vaporsing
@@chemroom5532 then how it will escape from crucible when it is closed with lid
Chem room 5 is backk. Sir, Can you cover some other topics in AS chem?
Wese all topics on paper are here. I now have to add videos of more in-depth understanding
Hi, which exam board is this?
CAIE A Levels (Cambridge A levels)
@oali2212 thank you! :)
Sir we have to draw column with pencil and also have to fill them with pencils too
Not necessarily
@@chemroom5532 thanks Sir
I personally like to draw my table in pencil ,so that if I make a mistake I can easily correct it. I also record my data in pencil ,so can also make corrections if necessary. When I do my calculations I write my results in pen.
@@bright_bechia is there no problem writing with pencil in table
@@AhsanJamil-u2h Yes you can draw your table in pencil just make sure that it's dark enough as the paper will be scanned when they have to mark it.
sir is this olevels?
Yes
Sir what does it mean when it says makes the print *just invisible*
The moment the printed sheet underneath the beaker becomes invisible u stop timer
@@chemroom5532Oh I get it now. Thank you!
I think it means stop the timer as soon as you can't see the printed script or like when it disappears and you can't see it anymore
@@tawabiri601 oh thanks for letting me know
@@chemroom5532 Thanks for telling me!
Sir the table can be drawn in another way too right. Where headings are all on one side on the right? And values at the front.
Yes can be Marks are for explicit hearings units and correct decimal places
@@chemroom5532 thank you!! I have my practicals on Tuesday.
also for the time question... u took 6.4?? shouldnt it be 6.2 so 1000/6.2 = 161??? i
Pls add timestamp
we dont need to rinse the measuring cylinder for adding the 10cm^3 of distilled water right? since we used that measuring cylinder to transfer 30cm^3 of fb1
Not rinsing is better as it allows washings to be transferred also.. this prevents the wastage of fb stuck on walls of cylinder
this is not a common practical right?
It very much is
Sir I have a question from where did u bring 39.94 while when we look at periodic table it’s 18 which we add one more time equals 36
Could you please add timestamp
@@chemroom5532 5:35
@@chemroom5532 at 5:40
@@chemroom5532 in periodic table its 40
Make a lecture on polymer chemistry plzz in detail
There's two to three videos on polymers
Happy to c u 👍
Hi sir, I wanted to ask you - shouldn't the rate of reaction graph be a curve and not a straight line? 14:45
It's a line of best fit. It is supposed to portray that rate and concentration are directly related
Legend
Aren't the precision of our graduated burettes upto 1 d.p? How are you using 22.65 as a final reading? (I haven't touched a burette in 2 years sorry. I have practical exam in 7 days.)
In AL, burettes are written with 2 dp.
Hi Behroz 😂, please don't stop your UA-cam educational journey. I am here to learn from you.😊
Sir, your lecture method is amazing, so please don't give up....best of luck😊
It means a lot when someone says this.
@@chemroom5532 , then carry on. We want to learn.
Please 🙏 I can’t find the next video after this video. I think the next video should be about chemical properties but what I'm seeing is Isomers and nomenclature.
Please 🙏 I can’t find the next video after this video. I think the next video should be about chemical properties but what I'm seeing is Isomers and nomenclature.
No, after physical properties its important we do a little on their naming and acquaint ourselves with structures
I love how you explain it ! Not even my teacher could get me to understand this .🫶🏾
Happy to help
🙏🏻
hello sir when calculating the average volume of FB2 you did not use 2nd reading?? does this mean that concordant readings are only used to find the average volume? what if any no readings are concordant? 7:24
You continue titrations until two are concordant. None of the non-concodant should be used
Why do we divide 1000 by time to get the rate of reaction at 21:12 ?
This is a general formula to find rate as sn arbitrary value. Divide as (1000÷time)
1:2:1 is the 3 ratios for bromine
good
Yes
no one cares mf
It says to add 10 cm3 of water into the larger measuring cylinder though. You did it the other way.
Since the purpose was adding the three substances in same beaker, it would not be an issue
6:26 how do you guess the fragment lost? i dont get how you randomly got H3CO
When a certain mass is lost we have to guess, like loss of 45 units is -COOH, loss of 15 units is -CH3 etc
@@chemroom5532do u have a table for this? Or something where every thing we need to memorize is there plsss?
is this advanced A levels practice questions or is this GCSE practice questions???
Appliesvto both
