On Nut was near the top of my list of neighborhoods to look for an apartment. After watching over 100 videos and doing more research, I have come to the "temporary" conclusion that I would not be able to cope with the heat. I get HOT here in Cuenca when it's 75 degrees. Yes, it's equatorial 75, but that tells me Bangkok would be a challenge. If you haven't already, Bangkok Pat has a great channel that focuses on the history, architecture and even ghost stories of Bangkok. I think he gives tours too. Thanks A&A!💕💕
Yes I have seen his channel. You know I love getting too deep into historical details so he’s right up my alley. I think you’d like the Chiang Mai series, we’re here now and for the last three days we’ve been cold. Alan went out and bought a heavy flannel to wear.
It does feel so good to start with a warm broth for breakfast. I’ve switched to start my day with bone broth with a little salt and LOVE IT! But I’m also a sucker for western brunch and breakfasts when I go out lol.
I’m that friend that was always a pain for brunch. I had to know where we were going first so I could see if there was something I liked. It needed to have non brunch food on the menu.
Best Beef is a lot of fun. We ate there when we first came to Bangkok a few years ago. Looks like you guys are having a good time and enjoying yourselves. I, too, like to eat outdoors!
Going to Bangkok during year end is the best. Temps have cooled and it is so much more comfortable to move around. Need more spicy stuff for Alan? Suggest you take the next flight to Southern Thailand (Krabi, Phuket..etc) and try southern thai cooking.
We’ve been there! Last year we spent the same time in Koh Samui. But Krabi is definitely on the list in the future. There were a few dishes in the alleyway they warned me about the heat but Alan is from the spiciest island in Sumatra so I thought he would be fine. He still ate the dishes but admitted they were even spicy for him.
Glad you guys are back in Thailand, if you have time I would like you to join us in celebrating the Loy Krathong Festival in Thailand, Sukhothai Province will start from 8-17 November and on the 15th will be the Loy Krathong Festival throughout Thailand, have fun. Every day.💗🎆🎇🎉🎉
@@ayngelina In Chiang Mai there is Loy Krathong and it is beautiful. The origin of Loy Krathong is in Sukhothai, and the event is beautifully organized as well. You can join the Loy Krathong festival anywhere in Thailand, love you both, wish you happiness on every trip. 🎈🎊🎉🎆
Selemat Sore, A & A, love the apartment with filtered water & walking distance to amazing food choices! Yeah 2 walking! Dealing now with more skin cancer, pack on the sunscreen and cover your head! Take care. Love from CA.
I started with Tretinoin actually as they don't require a prescription here. But I am a bit leery of skin clinics as there is such an emphasis on being whiter, using bleach ingredients in nearly all the products and spas offering many "slimming" services. I would really need to do more research.
@@ayngelina Your skin looks beautiful on camera! Korea is the best! Great u started using Retin-A, just keep piling on the sunscreen, esp on your chest, shoulders, front & the back of your neck! Easy 2 get prescription in US with Telehealth, $20.00, 20 grams. Still might be tempted to get a facial/steam treatment with no creams or lymph node drainage/shiatsu massage. I've had amazing massages in Java. Nothing improves your skin like circulation. You work so hard, time 2 treat yourself!🤩P.S. Would love 2 sponsor a facial.
@@ayngelina It is a tradition that is about 700 years old. It is about water and washing away the gloom. There is the burning of candles, playing with fire, and releasing lanterns in the northern region where it originated. This year it falls on November 15th in all parts of the country. It is a day filled with smiles and laughter.
This one does. It was also move in ready with all the cleaning supplies, a closet full of towels and sheets, shampoo and body wash, laundry detergent and dish soap. We didn’t have to buy a thing.

On Nut also doesn’t have any good coffee shops so it was a good neighborhood but not 100% for me

Hello ayngelina
Hello 👋
So much to explore in Bkk. A couple of days can not scratch this big city I guess.
I think you could spend a lifetime and still be surprised but it’s fun exploding a bit at a time.
Watch out for mangosteen staining clothes. Must try it though. It’s great.
Oh yeah, the juice is almost purple!

I hope you enjoyed!
I think Korean BBQ is better just due to the sweeter marinade and banchan that you get with it.
Well my favorite dipping sauce was the Korean one and I do love all the extras you get with Korean BBQ.
