This might sound corny coming from a 57-year-old woman. But when I was a baby my grandma Garner bought me this huge hardcover Mother Goose Treasury book. I still have it in a box. I’m not sure if I got the name right but that book is so incredible it’s got hundreds and hundreds of poems and stories and wild graphics and even as an adult I loved to read that book to my kids when they were little. I’m going to save it of course and hopefully my kids hang onto it for their kids
This place is magical. Seriously a kind of therapy for your inner child. Lol everyone should go at least once. It's such a nice park in the woods. Laid back with plenty of fun. Thank you for making this video
idlewild is consistently voted one of the best amusement parks for younger children and for good reason. i grew up going here and so did my kids, lots of great memories. i had a sketch done of my son over by that keyhole door when he was a year old. he graduates high school tomorrow.
I visited Storybook Forest when I was maybe six years old...that was a very long time ago...and so much has changed, and yet the integrity of the place has not changed. Good family fun for sure!! Thanks, Jordan, for the wonderful childhood-long-gone memory.
Okay, that was adorable. I love how you said hi to everyone, even the inanimate figures. What a fun place. Brought back a lot of memories of nursery rhymes I long forgot.
I really enjoyed the Story book Forest. A charmimg setting. I would have loved to come here as a child. Thank you for sharing my friend. Blessings - Judith 🎵
I enjoyed the Story Book Forest more than the neighborhood Trolley. Beautiful setting & fond childhood memories❣️Thank you Jordan for adding to this world of innocence and wonder. ❤️🙏🏻🌲🍄🪺🪨🌈
Lovely to see, thank you Jordan. Love the pleasure you get and give seeing these places. Engaging with the characters was fun, some suffered a bit of stage fright unfortunately.
HEY, JORDAN & JAH Hello you two big kids Going to storybook Forest looks like so much fun your nothing but a big kid love that you went through and seen ever house great job I really did enjoy this volg Take care drive safe and will see you on the next awesome video Adventure
Ahh, stories at bedtime... if you grew up on these fairy tales, you can feel the history behind them ...With all the horrible things going on in the world, you are healing us with your magical journeys, my friend. I sense a little of Mr. Rogers spirit in you! 🚃
Story Book Forest was a great to see they covered all the nursery rymes in a book this was so awesome to see and Jordan can not wait for our next adventure.
Hi Jordan, it doesn't matter if it's for kids, we are all kids at heart. I really enjoyed Story Book Forest, and I loved the crooked house. How funny, my other half just walked in just as Humpty Dumpty was singing, she looked at me with a puzzled look and said "what are you watching?". Great vlog Jordan.
I have been to Storybook Forest SO many times I couldn’t even count!! Then we took our 2 kids there bunches of times. It’s only a county away from us. Go to Falling Waterhouse by Frank Lloyd Wright. It’s BEAUTIFUL!!! And you aren’t too far away!!!!!
When I was a small child. My mother would take us to Storybook Forest every year. For a child under five. This was exciting. I don't think Idlewild was really much of anything back then (1960's - 1970's) just a few rides. I am happy to see they revitalize Storybook Forest. It had fell into disrepair and was closed for many years.
Loving the memories that come back from you posting the Idlewild videos! I remember being scared of the wolf in the house that I would always close my eyes and cover my ears and run through the house to the other side haha. Thank you Jordan!
We had something similar, long since gone, in Woodbridge, VA. It was called "Storybook Land" & located on US Route 1. Funny the things you remember! Thanks for the reminder, Jordan!
That's so cool! I would enjoy going there just because I'm a kid at heart. It's really neat how they have live actors portraying these characters & making the stories come alive. Thanks for the fun video Jordan!
This looks like a really magical park in a beautiful setting. I would imagine it makes for a terrific family day out, as no matter what age you are, we're all familiar with these storybook characters. Great fun - many thanks Jordan.
Now this was REALLY COOL ! I have been to parks like this many years ago. But they were kinda rough and banged up. WOW, this one is so Well Done and Well maintained ! I Love it, kinda Cool they have live characters throughout the park. Real Nice ! :)
This was one of my favorite places to go when I was a kid. I haven’t been there in years. Thank you for this. I’m originally from Pittsburgh and I’ve enjoyed all the Mr Rogers vlogs!
The storybook part of this park really brought back some memories of a place where I grew up in Maryland called Enchanted Forest. It was a really neat place for smaller kids. Thanks for the memories Jordan❣️

You should come to Oregon and see the Enchanted Forest.
I went there as a child and took my kids 30 years ago. They used to have some real animals as part of the stories.

NYS had several fun locations all sorts of different types. Sadly all gone now.
Did anyone else ever go down the metal snake slide as a kid and blaze have their skin off on the wall of the slide?
Any carousel footage?
