    Get out there and explore other areas in Colombia. You can always come back to Barranquilla.
    When I think of Barranquilla, I think of a nice big town in the U.S. like Reno, Nashville, Colorado Springs, Indianapolis. Towns that have everything you need, but not the type of places you break your neck to get to unless there is a connection like family, school, or a job.

    Your videos are always very interesting and well presented. When you travel will you have to take any special steps to make sure internet is stable enough to teach? I am living in Airbnb's and also work online. But my biggest concern about changing locations is always adequate connectivity. I am not big a big fan of shared work spaces either as I prefer privacy when I am working.

      Thanks! That’s the biggest issue for many of us nowadays. I always read reviews on Air bnb and when I start to travel I’ll mostly be heading to larger cities. If I do go somewhere with unreliable wifi, I’ll call it a vacation. I want to go to San Andres, and I’m not even going to try and work there.

    • @TheGlobalProfessional

      Barranquilla is borderline suburban compared to Cartagena. Price is the biggest difference. Cartagena is more expensive (the tourist area) but there is much more to do. There are way more tourists in Cartagena as well. I like both places actually. Cartagena video coming soon.

    Is the humidity typically heavy like in Miami etc ?? What about air pollution??

    • @TheGlobalProfessional
      @TheGlobalProfessional  Рік тому

      It has the Miami feel. But it’s worse in Cartagena. The heat is intense, it’s all Caribbean weather. Air pollution isn’t a big issue, but if you are near a factory or cars, you can smell it.

    • @dovygoodguy1296

    • @TheGlobalProfessional
      @TheGlobalProfessional  Рік тому

      @@dovygoodguy1296 That;s an issue with the valley. The pollution often gets trapped. That’s one of the reasons I like the coast. But when I lived in Barranquilla, I lived near some factories along the river, and sometimes i the morning it would smell terrible. Though I’m not sure if it was the river, pollution, or a mix. But you can avoid the pollution in any of these cities by picking an apartment in a good spot. Either away from factories (the coast) or at a higher altitude (Medellin).
