There is the BYD Seal U, which is very similar to this, but tests show that this one is better in charging. I also like the design better. It has more space and a longer warranty.

That's also not available in the UK yet

There *is* an AWD petrol version available in other markets..... AND they did have a diesel version, but for some strange reason it has quietly disappeared.

The AWD is coming to the UK very shortly

    Hmmmm
    I like the battery size.
And the steering wheel paddles to change regen, while on paper a good idea in practise (i speak from experience as a 2024 hyundai kona N line S ev owner) is about as intuitive as tesla indicator buttons, turn the wheel and suddenly the paddles are not were yoy expect them to be.
On the kona , i yried it for a 95 mile drive, found it way to involving and just left it in i pedal.

Manufacturers have been getting paddles wrong on ICE cars for years too, Alfa Romeo get it very right but even Bentley put them on the wheel rather than the column so you can't find them in a corner.
I would say I'm less inclined to change regen mid corner than I would be to change gear

It’s not body on frame! Please do your research better, as you normally do!

I will quote this directly from KGM's press materials "Torres EVX's body-on-frame construction is built using class-leading 82% high tensile steel is applied to ensure optimum body stiffness and safety, with customer confidence further ensured by using POSCO steel plate."
Also, if you want to Google "KGM Torres Body on frame" the first result will be a What car article talking about this same thing.
Having got two sources that the car had a frame I then got underneath it to confirm, and either it has a frame or it has the most robust square sills I have ever seen on a car.
