Hi Tim. I personally don't think it's a good idea to put your photos at the start of the video. As a photography channel, the photos are the reveal, so you need to tell the story and work up to showing what you achieved later when the time comes. If you show them at the beginning, it takes out all the suspense and wonder of what we're going to see in the video. As for raw files, that's not good at the beginning either, as you're basically advertising with 'bad' quality images since you haven't edited them yet. Non-photographers aren't going to understand there are better looking versions coming later. If you want to share the raw versions, I'd definitely stick them next to the edited versions later in the video, either before or after, and label them as raw so folks can see the difference between unedited and edited. For my own taste, I never care about seeing raw images except sometimes with wildlife to get an idea of how much cropping was involved, but that's just me. As for a preview at the beginning of the videos, you could do a couple small clips of what's coming up before launching into the talking portion at the start. A lot of different types of channels do that, a way to entice but not give away anything so folks still need to watch. Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide to do. :) Cheers from Maine. :) Paula

I have/had some of the same concerns pertaining to sharing images at the beginning of the video but you also made a few good point that I had not considered - I like how you put it advertising the 'bad' images to someone who is not familiar to the process. I think I will continue to share the RAW files for the next few videos as I am still experimenting and trying to find a video format that feels authentic to me, that being said I truly appreciate your comment and will consider some of the suggestions in the future 😁

Looks like a super nice area. I love those cracks and texture in the granite, but that sunset image at 13:20 is killer!

I did not fall (thankfully) but there was a slight issue of getting turned around at one point, which is never fun in the dark but my GPS saved me 😂
