  • INTRODUCING THE PATENT PENDING BOURBON BLADE: THE ULTIMATE EDC TOOL FOR WOODWORKERS, MAKERS AND CARPENTERS
    kmtools.com/pr...
Revolutionary Design - The Bourbon Blade is the world’s first EDC folding chisel knife with a flat back, designed to revolutionize your everyday carry. This innovative tool combines the precision of a chisel with the versatility of a knife, offering unmatched utility in the workshop, studio and jobsite.
The Story Behind the Blade - Born from Jason Hibbs of Bourbon Moth’s brilliant idea and developed over two years from the ground up, the Bourbon Blade was created through collaboration with product design experts like Jonathan Katz-Moses and Danish knife maker Mikkel Willumsen. This meticulous process ensured the tool’s superior design, safety and functionality.
Purpose-Built for Makers - The Bourbon Blade addresses the specific needs of woodworkers, making it not only perfect for opening boxes and scraping glue BUT also detailed woodworking tasks like marking lines, chamfering edges and mortising out hinges. Traditional knives aren't optimized for workshop use, so we crafted this multifunctional tool to fill that gap.
    Unmatched Features
High-Quality Materials: Made from Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel with G10 handles for durability and rust resistance.
Safety and Convenience: Features one of the industries strongest safety mechanisms, the crossbar lock. This is many times stronger than a traditional liner lock which can fail when experiencing shock loads from a mallet.
Ambidextrous Design: Available in BOTH left-handed and right-handed versions.
Robust Clip Design: The strongest clip on the market ensures your knife is always secure and within reach.
Mallet Striker: Includes a hardened steel liner in the back for hitting with a mallet, closing paint cans, and even opening your beer. Full-width steel barrel pins ensure any shock load is transferred directly to the blade and not your hand or the body of the chisel

@@floridabeardedwoodworker i would appreciate a video showing the specific damage a good clip may be from the more difficult parts to design well as an independent manufacturer and 14c28n steel should not be different composition. it is (supposed to be) Swedish. I do so wish they had gone with an established producer.
