You been making what since 2014? A folding knife? Or a wire pocket clip? Ofcourse they can patent the knife. I bet your 2014 knife is nothing similar to this.

Here's a thought: in order to maximize the gripping surface area of the jig, would it make sense to flatten one side of each disc a bit so they lay flat against the segments instead of just one contact point on each disc?

Its made in china and it shows there is no way im the only guy that has this problem.

@@floridabeardedwoodworker i would appreciate a video showing the specific damage a good clip may be from the more difficult parts to design well as an independent manufacturer and 14c28n steel should not be different composition. it is (supposed to be) Swedish. I do so wish they had gone with an established producer.
