Buckets on my apartments balcony was my first garden! I grew peppers, eggplants, culantro, cilantro, various flowers, cucumbers, tomatoes and even watermelon. Now I have 8 beds, 38 buckets, 22 grow bags and 6 hens. It's my healthiest addiction 😉
Your a keeper 💍!
Cool! 🥰
did you notice any difference between buckets and grow bags in terms of plant health?
@RaffyMaBoi great question. The grow bags did tend to dry out quicker, but generally speaking, they were all healthy and grew late into the season.
I ❤it

Right to the point, no loud music and bullshit. I like this kind of content.
Totally agree I can't stand the long intro that has nothing to do with the topic.
I honestly learn more from you than any of my 3 year studies in Horticulture! 🙏
I think you're lying.
@@anagramconfirmed1717 You're entitled to what "you think", I suppose. 🤦♀️
@@dcsc1 ok
@@anagramconfirmed1717 he’s not. Our education system is watered down & useless.
@@sincitychris I'm in Australia and while the high school education system is pathetic here, extremely watered down as you say, the tertiary ed system is very good in this country luckily.
👋 from Down Under, Ash (a chick). 😉
i think my favorite thing about your videos is that youre so excited about gardening its like listening at 2x speed.
I totally agree!
James you are such an inspiration. I hope you realize just how much you are appreciated for what you share with us, and from the depths of my heart thank YOU for doing all that you do to help enlighten humanity.

Thanks for the shout out today! Loved the video, as always! You and Tuck truly have taught me so much! I am so grateful! ❤️❤️❤️
It’s the least we could do Shannon, me and Tuck are grateful that you are part of the team 🐕😁❤️
Just picked a good bunch of my favorite peppers--pimentos--round, thick, and very sweet. The plants are compact and I've successfully overwintered them inside to produce for a second season.
Ohhh those are great! I gotta grow some of those next year, I didn't do a diverse enough of varieties this year.
I think I may try overwintering a few of mine this year.
James am watching u ,but I want to ask can I put my seed's now in ground I have seed's of tomato's ,green pepper, onoins
I love these how to videos, you always pack so much useful information into a truly short, enjoyable format
The drainage tray under the bucket and the theory behind it is a game changer. Thank-ya!
James, thank you so much for the videos. Your contagious smile and laugh. I was wondering… would you ever take us on a 45 minute harvest? I watch your videos over and over. We love you and Tuck to the moon and back. Let’s grow fall 2022!!!!!!!!!
I’ve been growing ceyenne, green chilli and mini bell peppers this year! They haven’t changed color yet, but I’ve been happy how they have grown in their containers so far (producing tons of peppers)! ❤️❤️❤️❤️s for the boss as always!
Your enthusiasm is contagious, thank you so much for the tutorial. Your pepper harvest is healthy, well done!
It's really cool to see people growing their own food. It would be great if more people acquired this habit. In addition to improving our health by consuming healthier foods, we contribute to preserving our planet by reducing the use of pesticides. Congratulations on sharing your knowledge and experience with us.
Thanks James for all your advices , now I'm ready for planting season.
This video is spot on and very well put together!! I grow peppers every year and everything you said in this video is exactly how I grow them. Jimmy Nordello is my favorite and I haven’t had the other variety yet. I will have to get them next year. Thanks
Jimmy!! From Melbourne you do inspire and encourage.... I went all out and bought some mid range raised beds and have realised that's a big ask from scratch... Vids like these get me excited about all other options like this container gig.. Seriously, big thanks my man!!
I just truly admire your work James. Many blessings.....
Thanks for sharing your amazing knowledge with us James! Another fabulous video! Much love to Tuckeroni!

I smile every time I watch one of your videos. Your information is great, and you are a joy. Your motivation and creativity are inspiring…can’t wait for morning to be back in my garden. Early season weeding had been tempering my desire to keep working. You cured that. Much appreciation from Davis, California
Thank you for this video James and Tuck, I've been having poor results growing peppers here in Michigan, I will incorporate your tips and detailed instructions next season. God Bless you and your beautiful garden.

Love your videos and also Huw Richard videos. Love that Huw Richard mentions you and gives you credit for ideas that he features in his videos.
His vids make me smile. The very 1st video I watched I thought-1970’s car or furniture salesman commercial. I kept watching and the video was so informative. I love his energy too. 😊

My Go To channel for Garden info! Starting my Garden 2023!
Love the vid and love growing peppers! The most I've grown in s season were 34 different varieties...everything from hot to mild. Marconi Red is a fave of mine along with Aji Amarillo. Overwintering is well worth it for really increasing production. I usually will get 2 to 3 years out of my best plants before changing them out.
Keep up the great work inspiring others to get out in the garden!!
Great. I enjoy watching all your videos. They are highly educative.
Budget friendly food safe containers can be asked for at a local bakery or bakery in your grocery store. Frosting containers are maybe 3-4 gallon. I got mine just by asking for it. Free. Went back every year for ten years. Still free. It's a great way to save on containers at the start. Happy gardening people!✌️
Lucky. Around here if I ask that the employees will look at me like I'm retarded, and if I ask again they go talk to other employees, looking borderline panicked as they keep glancing back at me as if I'm some kind of glow in the dark alien.
@@GrayaldAsk for the manager. Cut out the middle man 😂
Hey James I love those peppers I am growing those for third summer now and so happy with them. Thank you for the pepper videos
An excellent guide to preparing the substrate!
First, I want to thank you for all you do and knowledge you share. I have watched a couple years and have started the foundation of backyard food forest that my kids love to help with.
Your video came at a perfect time. I ha
ve been picking my first Aji (Peruvian) peppers of the year. Would highly recommend you try Aji Amarillo seeds to grow; it's a phenomenal pepper you can't buy in the States (but can buy seed) that I started growing this year. It's a staple in peruvian cuisine
My FAVORITE gardening channel! Thank you :-)
Thank you for the detail instructions. This was excellent!

Thank you for posting this! I'm trying to learn how to grow pepper probably among other fruits and veggies
Hey @jamesprigoni have you ever tried to add a handful of pulverized eggshells to the holes before you lower in your tomatoes and peppers? I swear by it.
Excellent video. You managed to cover A - Z of pepper growing in 1 video. Very nice 👌
Thank you for the wonderful content!
I grew peppers indoors in containers here in Alaska. ❤Thank you for sharing. 😁
Love your ENERGY!
Smashing video, thanks for this real good info. 👍
Hey Team Tuck! I like how The Boss (Tuck) always makes sure he has a paw in to train James...like holding down the tarp before James makes his own potting mix. You guys need to take this show on the road ;-) Cheers!
I love watching your videos specially when it’s harvest time. I wish I can visit your garden someday 🥰
❤ i finally grew green peppers, from your heat pad idea. I have nice plants for the spring. Thanks just hope they survive FL weather.
Thank you so much I had a problem with mine last year . This was great ❤️
This is such great info, James! I am saving this vid for next spring as I’m getting ready to start my seeds. Give Tuck some scritches for me! 🐾
😁🐕❤️
When do u pick them? Before they mature or after
Do you have a video on container tomatoes if you don't have the space to grow them
Thanks! I’m going to try this out and see if I can extend my pepper production within the inside of my greenhouse once frost hits.
I live where it snows three months a year. Buckets is the only way to go. This year I'm trying peppers. Thanks for giving me encouragement. 😋
now i can't wait for spring to get here!!
Ya love to see it
Yes sir
What's up from arizona! Thanks again for all the tips and tricks that actually work! We've got to prune our peppers down now so that we can get all flush and produce tons of flowers for the bees! Cheers 🥂😎
You the THE MAN! love it!
Peppers are always one of my favrite plants to grow. Deffs going to do them in fabric pots this year on my deck away from my fruit trees that shade my raised beds. I used to get nice pepper harvests from those beds I the past but now its perfect areas fro lettuce and stuff like that. Cannabis is finally legal to grow in Maryland so I've been learning a lot from my grows indoors, and have a bunch of extra gear at my disposal for my vegetable garden now. About to start my peppers in onf of my grow tents for spring now. I'm set up do do cloning and everything now too. Plan on getting some clones of my fig, blackberries and currants for sure.
Love your vids man. Always great content.
I planted the Jimmy Nardello's this year for the first time. I love how many peppers you get on each plant...and they taste Delicious!!! Lots of love for Tuck!!!
Hi! Your profile picture is very cute! I Just decided to stop by and say hi. I hope my compliment is appreciated.
Perfect timing. I have pepper seedlings that need to be repotted!!
Let's Gooo!!!
Man I love your videos bro. You and I have the same approach and I like coming here and reminding myself. Keep it up.
🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️❤️awesome work guys!
THANKS SO MUCH LOVE YOUR GARDEN
Hi James,, I grow most of my veggies in buckets like you have,, I have noticed one thing,, Dam yours look huge compared to mine,, I found out something that peppers do not like a lot of sunshine,, So mine have the morning sun until noon and then again at 5,, but I set a few by my outside air conditioner the wind from these actually help them grow bigger,, weird yes i know,, But I am learning every day,, Love your video's Learned so much about how to do things the right way,, Thanks so much
Awesome video thanks !! 😎👊
Blessings to all!
And Blessings to you as well!

Thank you so much! May you be blessed more abundantly!
Don't know how I've never come across this channel in all the times I've been on UA-cam. Anyway, this was super helpful! My hubby and I are currently renting and want to start a little container garden on our patio.
I grew my peppers in a 3 gallon pot and I'm pretty sure they are root bound. I learn as I go,thanks to your awesome info
Thanks for your post. I was thinking of using 3 gallon pots to save on soil. Guess I better go with the 5 gallon. I'm in central Florida, just about time to start some seeds for fall. 😀
Hope to see another video from you! Please take care.
James you make me smile every time with your introduction... I'm an Italian Jersey Girl living in TN and you make me feel like I'm right back in Jersey LOL we get the exact same weather as where you are 90-100 degrees in summer and this past Christmas was 0 degrees. So my question is I get sun til about 2 in the after noon ..the south side of house is scorching hot come 2 so not sure if I should plant all my pots, tomatoes ( Roma n san marzano... peppers ..zucchini, or do some just need that super strong sun mid - late afternoon.. hope I'm making sense.. they will be in containers
My first Peppers started fruiting on my North facing balcony that only gets less than 3hrs of evening sun! 🌱😁🌱 thanks for the tips to help keep them going!
Good to hear it. Some people are using those veggie bags from super market produce section that dont have writing on it to grow nice carrots. On their balconies in India.
Love the content man, finally successfully got ground cherries to grow. Only found it about them from this channel, I'm in NJ as well. So I figured anything you can grow, would work for me as well!
This is my 1st year with an actual garden... My husband thinks I'm in love with you because daily I'm watching a new or past post of yours LOL. Do you have a list of your favorite varieties of seeds? I have some dragon tongue beans and zuppa tuscono zucchini growing, hoping for a fall harvest :) Love your energy!!!!
