Quinta’s growth from Buzzfeed to a genius hollywood comedy actress has been an amazing thing to witness
Actress and producer. Aye! 🙌🏿
i'm so happy for her and her success!
GeNiUs lmaoo
I was thinking the same thing!
She’s inspiring
I was a bit disappointed that Selena didn’t go the comedic actor route after Disney because I saw that potential in her in Waverly Place. On top of her successful music career, I’m glad she’s exploring this now.
I agree! I also saw the potential in her - she can be hilarious
yeah but she also has the potential to become a big pop star and she did become a big music artist. i guess sometimes you just have to choose. it's hard to do both. i'm glad she's focusing more on acting now. it's not too late she's still so young
only murders in the building is a pretty comedic role, even though there's also some drama/mystery
@@adamgroffsson3274 she can't sing tho
@@ndo533 Quiet you!!
They all look so proud when Quinta is talking!!! QUINTA IS QUEENNNN
she's only one I have no clue who she is
She’s the creator of abbott elementary. And she’s meme queen😂
@@en6278How do you not know Tracee Ellis Ross, Selena Gomez, or Amy Schumer?
Even the fans. We remember her from Buzzed. She's come so far!!!!
My girl, Quinta is at the roundtable! I'm so proud of her, she is such an inspiration.
Such a hardworker and incredibly innately funny
@@Vianeigh863 Exactly!
LOVE HER!!!!
Yes!!
I love her...❤❤
Seeing Selena, and Quinta made this video feel so refreshing. Lets hope they get those emmy noms
Reminding you today that Quinta is now a Emmy award winning actor/ writer !!
I love Tracee Ellis Ross for pushing writers to depict her more than just a setup for the husband's jokes and more than showing her cutting vegetables or cleaning.
Yes!!! Me too. That’s how it should be. Balanced
It is so painful to hear Molly’s story. What kind of human calls someone ugly, and that too before a photo shoot. I’m not a violent person but that really got me enraged
You mean enraged? Or am I missing something and you actually meant engaged? 🤔
@@nikitamohanan2124 enraged- I misspelled it Nikita :)
the way that everyone at the table reacted - you can see how they were shocked, mad and sad for her.
I've always thought she was stunning. And I think she's aging very gracefully! It pisses me off that someone would say something so cruel AND UNTRUE!!!! Essentially gaslighting her and causing her to doubt her own beauty!
Molly Shannon is a damn legend. That woman is a comedic genius. She found her path and she's a legend as far as I'm concerned.
selena gomez is so well spoken. so glad to see her being taken serious as an actress.
But... She speaks SO slowly, it's desperating
@@valentinaespinosa7894 she’s a superstar lol, she does interviews and talks to the camera every day she’s trained to speak slower so to increase watch time
@@Fazedmuse21 I hadn't thought about that. And truthfully I'm not trying to be mean, I just have a hyperactivity...
@@valentinaespinosa7894 no I totally get it, it can get annoying for certain people but I don’t think too much of it since I know she’s on a completely different level of work than the woman she’s sitting with
Is she not live action Daria?
Selena has been in the industry since she was 7 and now she is almost 30 and for her to be turn into this beautiful, independent woman. I am so proud of her.
This is my first time taking the time to see her in anything and I'm impressed with how poised her demeanor is. She seems really sweet and intelligent
yawn......
"As a black woman, societally we know that we are often utilized and not centered"- Tracee Ellis Ross. Wow! That's so true and i will quote you on that
MOST humans of either gender and all ethnicities are utiilized and not centered.
Molly sits in her TRUTH. Of course she knows she's not a model-type, but she found her place within that toxic world based solely on her talent and determination. THAT is what makes her so beautiful...she glows.
Yes! She knows her value and she is absolutely beautiful
It's really great to see Selena become more appreciated as an actress because she's absolutely amazing at comedy.
yawn....
@@adoringsharon do people have any nice things to say these days?
I’m here for Tracee, Quinta, & Selena 🥰🥰
Me Too
samesies
same
Was just about to write this 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Quinta’s comments about “be this or don’t exist” is something I have ALWAYS said about how our world feels about women who they don’t find useful (read: obedient and “hot”) and it’s so incredibly refreshing hearing another woman who has a platform using that description.
I think it's just as bad if not worse for men actually, I mean the notion that men float in clouds of privilege is so ingrained in the public discourse, we don't care or even acknowledge that some men are treated very, very poorly too
@@Archihuman Yes men too but no where near the degree and frequency that women do. This video's comment section is probably not a great place to go commenting "yeah but men too..."
@@Archihumanmen do face this issue but not nearly to the magnitude and frequency as women
@@cocomalonee I don't know, it's hard to say who has it worse. This is totally anecdotal but I certainly see a lot of lonely men around whom nobody seems to give a s@!t about. I don't think this is a women-speicific issue
After being a Selenator for such a long time, and admiring Selena Gomez my entire life for her kindness, her heart, and for everything that she is doing for the community, It gives me such an immense pleasure to see her being successful and confident. Seeing all this successful women of the industry praise her makes me so proud.. Selena is such an amazing human being and she deserves all the success and love in the world.❤❤
I would love to see Traci guest star on Abbott Elementary next season
She’s funny in everything!!!
Yesssss!
Selena the most humble n beautiful inside out person in the world...... She is so respectful towards all....i just love her ❤️❤️❤️
Quinta went from working at buzzfeed to sitting down with a list celebs thats crazy she has come a long way im so proud of her💕
Makes me so sad hearing Molly's story. I was called ugly in school and it sticks with you. You can still see the pain in her face. Some people have a truly disgusting heart.. how you could say those things to other human beings who did nothing wrong to you is awful. I think Molly is beautiful inside and out.
Hugs Ally. Molly is beautiful and I'm sure you are too ❣️
I'm not surprised by that awful comment as the world is cruel. However, I take away that Molly didn't make that her 'story' because every time I see her on screen I think how amazing & pretty she is. Molly has real talent & brings me joy before she even speaks!
@@melodylaila Thank you so much
Yep.
yeh some of us are called ugly as adults too. it's endless...
I will admit I have never given Selena Gomez much attention, she is not in my generation. I had no idea she was this impressive. Smart, articulate, beautiful the list goes on!
I’m glad we have interviews like this. It brings different generations together.
ew.
@@adoringsharonno one loves you
I see Selena Gomez, i click ✌🏻can’t wait!!!
Hearing Bridgett Everett talk makes me smile. She seems so earnest.
She's so dang funny.
The interviewer did a great job in facilitating the discussion. It was very well done. Thank you!
The collective shock and outrage at 30:48 is the very definition of support.
These women are all fantastic! Been a huge fan of Tracee Ellis Ross and Molly Shannon for years, they're some of the best. I was suuuper impressed by Selena Gomez in Only Murders, to see her work with two comedy legends was very very cool, can't wait for season 2!
Here for Molly Shannon, she is a living legend. I also love Tracee Ellis Ross. I wish they had included Juno Temple or Hannah Waddingham from Ted Lasso and Rachel Brosnahan from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.
I love these hardworking women, they gave us content that we can binge watch over and over again and they will lift us up each time.
Edit: I love how unapologetically intelligent, well-spoken and kind Selena Gomez is. She is a real antidote to the annoying bad girl/troublemaker image on her own choice.
Selena is so articulate and profound, i love how she never shies away from talking about vulnerable topics. WHAT A ROLE MODELL
yawn........
so awesome to see Selena and Quinta involved in these kind of conversation with others talented actress, will love them to collab in a project one day also with Tracee
Selena, Quinta & Tracee!!!!Wish we'd have Juno for this as well :/
Selena is boring
I have to say Tracee Ellis Ross does come across as the most grounded genuine person despite the fame of her mother, she seems like a thoroughly down to earth person
Hats off to Miss Diana Ross for raising her daughter to be a normal person, and a normal person in showbiz, to boot!
@@valleygirl6521 absolutely..she could have turned out to be a real entitled bratt !! :)
whhhaaattt?? she is so far left and is an abortionist
@@dinajones2761 "An abortionist"? Trolls trolling.
@@valleygirl6521 Agreed 👍 Tracee is so very well rounded... Diana did a fantastic job as Mom
Selena achieved her next goal - speaking at the White House 🙌🏽👏🏽🫶🏽
Right, I was so happy when she said that, seeing as she already accomplish it!!
Have been dying to see selena on stuff like this!! Love her sm
I replayed that first question and Amy Shumer's reply then Selena Gomez's reply b/c my jaw fell in my lap. That first moment set the tone for how amazing this round table discussion was. The HR is blazing trails with these interviews!! Thanks so much.
This was a great panel and an authentic discussion by all participants. I really appreciate what Quinta said at 39:33. There is so much more to be said about that but glad she brought it up on this platform.
I really loved what she brought up here. Really shows how so many people are entitled to Black women's labour. Even at a friggin Hollywood party. 😒
Ooooh. Selena was referring to Revival's album cover. Her comments aside, I loved that album.
Molly Shannon is such a legend. I have to admit I am here for Molly, Tracee and Quinta.
All the above and Selena for me!
Abbott Elementary is a must-watch
This has been one of the most refreshing, honest, and powerful roundtable sessions ever! Thanks for putting out such quality content, THR.
I’ve been waiting to see this round table because comedies have been on 🔥 this last year, Quinta taking lead on that
Tracey Ellis Ross is a Queen... just the way she commands the room. Love just listening to Quinta and learning more of who she is in this format. Oh and Amy whenever she is in the room she makes me so happy lol
I'm so happy to see Selena at this round table with all these amazing woman!! More power to you all!! Love seeing beautiful success woman come together and support each other!! We need more love in this world, great example of how Queens interact!!
Selena Gomez is phenomenal 🙌🙌👏
yawn.
this is one of the talks that is changing me also healing me, like when selena said that the perfect beauty is unattainable and when we accept that everything else becomes more real❤
Here for Queen Selena Marie Gomez
This is the healthiest thing I have ever seen... do they always do sittings like this?!! I would like to see more of this encouragement and positivity!
Yes, ever year. They always do a drama round table.
Great panel, so happy for Qunita!!! Abbott Elementary is hilarious.
This was such a powerful conversation between amazing industry disrupters. I definitely want to see more like this!
hope we get more roundtables soon, i'm loving these conversations!
I came for Quinta, Tracee, and Selena! (I am happy to see them in the room. Tracee worked it as a legend. Selena had grown woman energy. Quinta is a light that finally gets to shine.) However, I didn't expect Molly, I remember her from A Night At The Roxbury. Now, I want to see Issa Rae.
Really love Bridget too :)
Pretty sure Issa is in another round table
I came for selena because she is my everything i madly blindly love her , adore her ,respect her 😍😍😍😍
Listening to Selena is insightful and calming at the same time ❤️
I absolutely loved this interview. It was so interesting and inspiring all the things they had to say. What an incredible group of women!!
My favorite episode by far! Thank you to these woman for doing this interview with the Roundtable’s Lacey Rose.
This is just so lovely. It’s so beautiful and empowering and I love seeing the energy of them expressing themselves and the positivity.
Quintaaaaa my beloved! I've loved seeing this woman grow into her success! She deserves all the great things coming her way she's worked hard for it.
Came here for Selena and fell in love with everyone more than before ❤️
Awesome discussion; I loved all of them. I especially love my newly learned inspirational quote, "Dreams don't have deadlines."
Enjoyed this conversation so much! Thank you all, ladies!!
This was the most refreshing round table I’ve seen so far! Loved hearing all of their perspectives.
the mediator is great! the actresses are amazing but chaotic vibes she did great trying to guide the conversation out of the topics they were bringing
I'm here for Selena!
Great roundtable discussion with these 6 wonderful talented beauties.
Legit so happy to see someone from the content creator space, a black woman from the CC space, at this table. Incredible journey.
And Tracee, icon ✨
This was a great video 🥰🥰 all the ladies spoke so well! I hope they could make more with theses same ladies 🥰
To put Amy Schumer's name in the title of the video but not Molly Shannon is criminal. Mary Katherine Gallagher is one of the best sketch characters ever!
I don't really know any of these ladies too well but I generally enjoy these Roundtables so I clicked on this and wow...this is definitely one of my favourite ones. Such intelligent and supportive women🧡. Can't wait to check out their projects
Tracee Quinta and Selena on the same table ❤️❤️
Incredible round table. Loved hearing the insights. Great energy here. Molly, Tracee, and Selena are really inspiring to me. Amy isn't my cup of humor, but wish her the best. I wasn't familiar with Quinta, but she's very well spoken! Bridget's personality is awesome, she was really phenomenal in Somebody Somewhere! I hope she gets recognition for it.
A beautifully important conversation from these incredibly talented women! I loved watching and listening to this conversation.
Selena is sooo gorgeous and well spoken
HER FOR QUINTA AND SEL, THEIR SHOW WAS EVERTHING THIS YEAR
I needed this today. Thank you all for the inspiration!🌟
Selena Gomez is a queen!
I can not get enough of Molly Shannon! She's been my favorite for so many years. I love all of these ladies but extra special shout out to my girl Tracee Ellis who just by being herself reminds me that it's okay to live in your own skin and express yourself. Trust me, I am just as silly and fun-loving she just doesn't know it yet! 😉
Absolutely loved this video! I could listen to them talk all day ❤️
44:26 loved this take of molly on Selena .... it was amazing
What a great group! I love Selena in Only Murderers in the Building.
So lovely how each person connected and related and support the others. Great group of women🙌🏻🥰
Somebody Somewhere 💜 It was just incredible and I can’t wait for season 2. It is totally incomparable.
One of the best shows I’ve ever watched!
What an incredible combination of talented icons. I know people have some strong opinions regarding some of these women but there is no denying the impact they’ve all had.
QUINTAAAAAA yah I remember her when she was on Buzzfeed and I truly always adored her. I was so sad when she left Buzzfeed ONLY TO BE GASSED AT WHAT SHE DID LATERRRRR (and is doing now)🥰🥰🥰. SO PROUD OF YOU GIRL 💗💗💗💗
this was a really heartwarming video for me. so many amazingly talented human beings in one room. the amount of respect and admiration they all have for one another
This was an amazing interview I have watched of incredible women.. ❤️❤️❤️ all of them are so smart, kind, and passionate.
These interviews are always amazing but this one was really quite extraordinary💕
Here for queen Selena, ❤️
SELENA IS SO BEAUTIFUL and ELEGANT ….love her
This entire panel is so inspiring there are so many quotes just from this table that inspires me to keep going
MOLLY SHANNON IS EVERYTHING!!!
It starts with us! Thanks for using your spotlight and time to try to make our society more of a community.
Your stories made me think of my best friend growing up singing country songs on the back of the school bus together
Molly is an icon.
Media ought to give her more focus.
I wish she would be the star of a show, not a supporting character.
My girl Quinta! ❤️ I'm so proud of her, so inspired with her growth, this is exactly what I wanted to see for comedy!
I’m so proud of Quinta!!! I really hope she gets all the recognition and accolades she deserves!!! Abbott Elementary is phenomenal:)
This was such a fascinating discussion! I love "Abbott Elementary", "Only Murders in the Building", and "The Other Two". I can't wait to see Quinta's projects following Abbott Elementary!
Selena & Quinta have my whole heart ❤️ what two incredible women in the industry and ofc Tracee 👑
This was well worth watching. I've never seen some of these artist but plan on viewing their shows in future. Quinta, Selena, Molly... their comments hit home.
Loved this session so much!! Women supporting and empowering one another is what I’m here for!
I like this conversation because it feels very authentic. It feels like if the cameras werent rolling, and it was not an interview, they would still speak the exact same way.
Wish it had been longer!! Really enjoyed it tho!
I loved how wonderful these women in encouraging each other ☺️ women power 💅
I'd loved to see Tracee & Quinta on SNL. I'm not familiar with Bridget but she seems like her skit would blow up online.
