  • Here's what I think about my stay at the Marriott Fallsview hotel & spa in Niagara. I and my husband spent less than CAD 600$ for our whole trip, including accommodation, food, and transportation (from Toronto to Niagara). #niagarafallsmarriottfallsviewhotel #travelingcanada #niagarafalls
    Here are some tips for making your stay as great as possible! I'll share how much it costs, footage of the rooms, what the overall experience was like, and whether I think it's worth it to stay here or not.

    I may have missed it, but what did you pay for parking your car? I know this hotel offers valet service, but do they have an in and out lot for park ur own car? I've stayed here a long time ago and I remember I had to walk quite a distance to get my car. Thanks! Great vid!

    • @LivinginCanada
      @LivinginCanada  2 роки тому +2

      I didn't bring a car, so I'm not sure how much parking costs, unfortunately. We took the GO train to Niagara, and used the WeGo bus there (at that time we got free tickets from the hotel, but not sure if they still offer that). Hope you can find the answer on the hotel's page!

      The view is splendid in the winter, but yes, awfully cold! Spring/Fall would be ideal.

    The price that you've spent is unbelievable low. The good but simple meal around there could cost $50-$70 per person, plus admission to all the attractions. Good proper and safe parking there is also $25-$40....

    • @LivinginCanada
      @LivinginCanada  2 роки тому

      Yes, at that time it was rather low season, during the pandemic when many places were closed. Now prices are already much higher.

      It's very easy and convenient, check out my other video on this: ua-cam.com/video/ADT-q0o0yYg/v-deo.html
      The only thing to note is that there are only few services. Try to take a direct connection to save time!

    Nice, thanks for the wonderful review, I'm planning early for the solar eclipse in 2024, we've stayed at The Oakes nearby which is also very nice but Marriott is now in my BonVoy rewards and we'll probably stay here on points with a possible surcharge for view.
    I wish you showed a bit of the hotels other amenities like Pool, sauna, hot tubs etc but still a very nice review and thank you again.

    I remember when the falls view and casino was being built. We used to vacation in Canada every other year growing up. We went for Mother’s Day one heat and stayed at the Hilton which used to have the best falls view. That year it had the best construction view 😂

    • @LivinginCanada
      @LivinginCanada  Рік тому +1

      Oh no... construction view is exactly what you want for your vacation. But good to hear about Hilton's view. I might check that out one day. Any tips for which floor to stay on/requests to the hotel? Is the breakfast any good? Thanks!

      Same here! It doesn't matter how luxurious the room is. If the bathroom is dirty it's a no! :) So far I had good luck asking the hotel in advance to pay extra attention to cleanliness.

      @@LivinginCanada can you give an example of what you write in the request form?

    • @LivinginCanada
      @LivinginCanada  Рік тому +2

      I'd write something like "Please ensure that the room is extra clean, especially the bathrooms. A common problem I see in hotels is also the shower curtains having mold. Kindly provide clean shower curtains." Sometimes also 'please do not use any air fresheners/sprays". Just add anything else that is particularly important to you. Hope that helps!
