Unboxing the S&W Shield Plus 9mm. Great concealed carry firearm. Great buy as well. #s&w shield plus #conceal carry handgun #shtf gun • THE BEST HANDGUN FOR H...
@@PalmerNoDrama I thought the same thing when I bought mine. So I found a fantastic deal on optics planet on both fmj and hollow points. Bought almost 1000 rounds. Also even if 30 SC tanks Federal will still make ammo for it. Just look at the. 327 magnum. Not very popular but still ammo to be found. Just my two cents
Fired an M&P Shield 9 a few years ago and it shot it pretty well. I've heard tell they have made improvements and they are even nicer now. Unfortunately I'm not in the market right now. Never pay MSRP in my opinion. Glad you are happy with it. Need to give an update after you break her in and show us a punched out target to see how you did. ✌️🇺🇸😎
Picked mine up back in May for $350.00 .I put a set of Ameriglow night sights on it and love them the more you shoot it the trigger breaks in and shoots smoother and smoother!
Had the original shield several years ago. Had mixed feelings on it due to the extremely narrow grip and gritty trigger. Tended to pull shots to the left really bad. Ended up selling it when the Micro 9’s became all the rage. Have owned the Hellcat, G43X MOS, and the P365. Finally broke down and picked up the Shield Plus OR model last December. Not sure what they did, but this thing is flipping awesome. The grip is spot on for my hands and the trigger on mine is damn near perfect. Seen some UA-camrs complaining about a long trigger reset, but mine seems to be about half the travel of theirs. Shoots like dream for such a small EDC pistol. The P365 has now been relegated to the safe queen. 👍
Nice, I’ve owned mine for nearly three years now and I like it a lot. A tad bit snappy though. Glad I got it! It cost me $426.00, a decent price at the time. Have fun shooting it!
Good ol' Shield Plus. This happens to be my current EDC. I'm glad to hear that you got a good deal on it. Mine was $400, and it had night sights, two mags, optics cut, etc. I would have hated if you would have paid $600 for the base model. 😳
@@TheShadeyZone No, the PC model doesn't have the optics cut (oddly enough). I have that one too, but the model I was referring to was the Shield Plus with a few bells and whistles, I guess. We picked it up at Cabela's/Bass Pro Shops.
You got the shinier polymer that looks Cheap. that’s the first batch. people complained about it so much that the second batch they released was more of a mat polymer
Hmm...well I do like the gun. I took it to the range and it worked very well. It had a lot less recoil than the Shield I had and was dead on target. No jams, no problems. The shiny polymer doesn't bother me a bit. Sorry if some people dislike a firearm because of its color or finish.
Soooo...skip to the part showing the firearm. Its kinda like anything else in life. You don't want to see the box? Skip the box. You don't want to watch a commercial? Skip the commercial. Life's about choices. Try making the good ones.
Mag release: no Slide release: it comes with the groves on the back end of the slide on both sides, if that's what you mean. It is VERY easy to rack. That could be because it's well-used. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching.
The full sized MP-2 Compact comes with ambi slide lock/release but not the Shields. No ambi safeties available on Shields either!🤡 Mag release swaps are easy and there are extended versions offered.
Not sure what you would want or how much you want to spend. I ...if I remember correctly...had a set of Tritiums on my old one. I went with a pretty good version but after about 5 years, one of the dots on the back was starting to fade. They did do a good job up until then and were still functional then, just one fading.

Got mine for $299 in 30 super carry, and it came with night sights. 13 rounds and 16 rounds.
i been looking on the 30 super carry version but fear the supply of that ammo in the future-
Sounds like a great buy. 👍 Thank y'all for watching.

S & W does make a 15 round magazine for it also . This Shield plus is one great gun .
that equalizer 15rnd mag works, micro-compact
Those 15 round mags are a must buy for the shield plus.

My dad has one and loves it. I'm running the canik tp9 elite combat. Also a phenomenal platform.
Just got mine six days ago! Same as your model, loving it as well !

My first gun love it the BEST EDC CARRY
Got mine with night sights and optics cut I love it 🥰
As did I. Haven't had issue one. The PC model is a different story though. 😬

It's already fun! I love this gun. Gonna get a lot more fun when I get the new trigger system in it. Appreciate you watching.

Yours sounds like a Performance Center Model? Sounds like a great gun.

Just picked up the optic cut, bronze slide with TGNS for 470$ from royal king
Smith is making great guns again❤
I've been a fan for quite a while.
Good deal, I got it with bugout bag OR 2 10rd & 3 13 rd. For 549 I Love it I bet you will also. Oh great video

I was expecting a nicer package, like a hardshell case, like the CANIK MC9. Cardboard box 😅
I agree. I liked the hardshell cases myself
dang. Got Mommas for 429.95
Mine was 387 not on sale at that moment
Don't sweat it my dude yours was brand new and his wasn't
Why do I need to see the box? I wanna see the pistol.

Colorado??! Didn't it come with less than necessary round mags? Why not buy it off the streets? Anyone coming after you will have several!
That just made me laugh.
Does this come with ambi slide and mag release?

Don't understand why anyone cares about the plastic cases. I have never used one ever. Not one single time. They stay stack up in the closet
Any night sight suggestions for a Shield Plus??
