- Well I resisted as best as I could, but now it's official! I finally own my own boat and it was free! Follow my series from beginning to end and watch how I slowly fall in love with her as I get her back into shape.
In this episode I meet "Swingin' Dixie" a 1972 Coronado 25 for the guest time. She is located on Lake Mead in Nevada, and this day was 100 deg F and humid for Las Vegas!

My friend and I are getting a 1968 Coronado next week I think. Inside is gutted so we will be remodeling the cabin but its ready to sail.
That is very exciting! If she is sea worthy in her Hull and rigging then it will be fun to make her inside your own!
Make sure the materials inside are balance port and starboard and above waterline and below waterline and forward and aft. i.e batteries low and centered, water tank forward and centered etc

Congratulations we have the same Coronado! Do you know where to refill the tank for the sink water?
My "water bladder" was under the V-berth. I removed it and made her a "dry" boat.
Im buying one of those coronado 25, do you thinks its a good boat can you give me your point of view please?
There is a Coronado 25 facebook group you can check out! I think she does we'll when her sails are balanced. She can get over powered easily. So learning her sail combination to reduce leehelm or weather helm is key. She is small inside but very livable for casual boat camping.
