can still do all that and get fucked up, or just unlucky though, poor health whatever (got both injury to back 2 of them and poor health due to multiple factors and i was only 16-17 then 22-23 when shit really hit the fan and still dealing with on going stuff some directly related to it other indirectly caused other issuse), id say just dont eat trans fats skate often and exercise daily or do something physical daily even long walk were built to move keep moving as long as can keep using brain and thats best can do and hope your cards and hand in life plays out alright, no dramatic depressing lows lol steady gentle negative waves and big fat positive good ones.
So fuckin great. I feel like Eric never lost that little-kid feeling of just being a huge fan of skateboarding, even though he's one of our heroes now. I mean this is a dude who has had Thrasher covers and shit. I'm such a fan of Eric Dressen.

I love how geeky and stoked he is on how board set ups look. I feel the same. Some peoples set ups look so clean, so on point. Colour coordinated, the geometry just right, the style, all of it, just right.. That's how it should be. That's how a skateboard and skateboarding should be... Something to be stoked about.

I remember when Eric Dressen came to Skate Street Ventura back in the late 90's. He ripped that place a new A-Hole. I thought I had seen it all there but his aggressive transition style was taking him to places no one had yet dared. Eric beat out all the top skaters of the time to get 2nd, losing only to a Brazilian who had been using SS as his local training ground for months. I'll always consider Eric the best skater that weekend. Even with Jamie Thomas doing just about everything everywhere in practice.

I love the Indy!! But I own a couple thunders also! I have five sets of indies. All 144 . 149. An one 159. Started on thunders but gravity drew me to Indy’s. I like both. They have their strengths and cons. But I ride indies the most. Lol users error I eat it more on thunders than indies looking back . Love these indies videos. I know there is only so many pros who ride indies for screen time but keep them coming! I like the videos that makes my purchase feel well worth it!!

159s standard, those are the ones I ride, I use a 8.6 board though. If I ever get 149s I would use an 8.3.

They got rid of the Maltese cross? That’s like their trademark
They are slowly fading it out. The official stamp has been taken off of the baseplate on the latest trucks, alongside the most recent adds implementing the new diamond style logo. I think the original logo will still be featured on some products, but the new logo will be used more frequently for the majority of their releases.
Its because the nazis used a similar cross and in this sjw snowflake world its offensive or some crap😑
Not sure I get it.... they’re removing the Maltese cross from the trucks yet screws, t-shirts and all other merch will still continue to have it... skaters associate Independent trucks with the unmistakable Maltese cross... fireman use it for a backdrop on their shield , not the nazi’s. I would think now they’ll associate the diamond with them being outsourced to China . IMO
Anyone know why he skates the mini combos, and specifically with the radial side in? Wouldn’t the conical/hardline side be better for locking into the coping?

hey, i ride 8.5 with 149s trucks, should i upgrade to 159s ?
YES that’s what I’m riding rn had the same situation I changed to 159 and I’m never going back they turned much more fluid and better plus there’s more room to grind on stuff
yes. dosent stick out as much as youd think it would. not at all rlly maybe a thread or two from the axle but not much. hey i would recoomend tho using two axle washers on the side between wheel and hanger so that the wheel covers more of the axle threads so ur axle threads dont get as stripped away, especially since ur axles "stick out further" then say a 149 truck on a 8.5 board pacificly
