Seen this coming since the early 60s as I read the book by A. C. Clarke, 'Profiles of the Future,' where he sort of predicted the Internet as, in the book, he sugested that much of the office work of an organization could be done over phone lines in peoples' homes. He also suggested, via the Imatation Game figured out by Turing, that computers would become very smart and be able to communicate with subscribers over phone lines. Never thought that I might live long enough to see it come to pass. If all that we see is made because of intellegence, and computer programs are the smartest thing around, does that mean that these devices and programs are going to start paying taxes? My taxes, say? And when would this be happening? While the progams are at it (as they might be copied as many times as needed .... maybe onto a portable hard drive from Wal-mart?) might they also crank out funds for my bank acount, and pronto? Sort of a socialist's dream come true? Might have to get Bernie Sanders on the late night, again. More than 'Boggle,' here, y' know? Dang!!
Mark my words. You will survive until the singularity of ai…
Guess we're gonna need AI in the classrooms, bc 1) teacher pay is so low now, and 2) the fact that teachers have been villified for so long has led to a decrease in the number of people interested in the field.
As long as parents can have say in how and what is taught to their children, and the ai’s programming
Non-judgmental is important. You can't make certain topics taboo. You can't be kind with someone by ignoring what they say.
Look how people fight the wisdom!
Wow, those blue eyes.
Monopoles are in question.
The journalist in the red dress comes off pretty sophomoric in this interview. First off, 350 pages is not a big book (unless you're just an...) and also she probably could've asked in a better way "can you elaborate on the harms of AI" instead of asking "How is this bad? We don't have a lot of time."
How we can control people? How can we put them under the yoke?
As a doctor, have to ask, what is your knowledge of "neural nets" and the "future of the world" as described in Obama's wired article in 2016? Have to ask given the privacy violations of citizens across the world? Been asking for a while...and most citizens on the street are horrified by that...If you were aware of anything like that, how would you respond for all those citizens?
Bring that guy who said is the same like atomic bomb, he is genius.
Eventually what?
He is sounding the alarm?
🎉lovegenzaiwaber🎉
The AI's are going to be like, ( In a caring sort of way :) "Soooo what are we going to do with these humans, they are going to loose their minds"
you see they tell everything except the my algorithm and my neural networks.
I wanted to add something but i ma not
It’s capitalism gone rogue!
I have heard from healthcare workers that are leaving in droves knowing what has happened that hasnt been addressed...but you can ask any smart cardiothoracic surgeons not into violating the population...
IF AI makes it easier to clinically treat the egotism of AI developers maybe it will do some good. The reason for these technologically sophisticated technologies is ironically primitive, to become the dominant alpha male.
300 pages is a "very long book"?
Hahahahahahahha......and this is what's wrong with 'Murica
Eventually it’s going to be only the few rich and powerful elite families and their armies of ai machine slaves
Terrible interview😂
