I am a huge Dracula nerd, I really loved that story and those old vampire novels. It works so great as an analogy and the lyrics really nail a lot of the tropes in a cool way. I took the angle in the revamped one to be showing how his addiction hurts him and the people around him, including the person he loves most. He tried to save her but couldn't even save himself.

He said on Twitch that the house is his. I love it too. Saraya says the 2nd version of her is her memories.
To me and from what I’ve gathered from watching Ronnie, is these are about addiction, lyrics like “it’s coursing through my veins “ “chemical daze” “when did I become so cold” etc. What I get from this song, between the original and the revamped, is that the original is the unapologetic, party animal rockstar, having fun. But in denial.. “I’m not an addict”/“I’m not a vampire “. In it he’s not thinking about what impact it has on his life and on others.
The revamped to me is a more mature look back at his addiction and how he didn’t think he was a monster but in reality he truly was and Paige (his irl girlfriend “Saraya”), I believe is a representation of how much he hurt those around him with his actions. In the video, when she walks in on him, he runs away ashamed. She kills herself in sadness over who he really is. When the Lynch mob comes, I think that’s his resignation, his giving up because he acknowledges how much he’s hurt those around him that he loved the most.
BUT... I think it’s also a love story and I think it’s to pay homage to Derek Jones and his fiancé.
Anyway, that’s just my take on it.
Btw on his Twitch, he hinted another song will be dropping very soon.

He brought her back because he couldn't live without her... But then the villagers broke in so he knew they'd find her so he sacrifices himself. She is wandering around a few yrs later notice the electric lights and the furniture covered expressing years have passed, she decides she don't want to live without him so she dies the same way he did.
I've associated it with Derek and Christine, only reversed roles, Christine was sick, and Derek left her (to go on tour) She died while he was on tour, He came back home and basically gave up his life because he couldn't live without her, Christine died in late 2019, Derek passed away in April of 2020 His cause of Death was not drug related, basically he died of a Broken heart 😭💔

I completely agree. His range is amazing, falsetto beautiful, belts are grounded and fantastic and when he does decide to add distortion to his voice he does it in such a beautiful, healthy way. He's a master of his instrument for sure.

David Bowie? That's Jeffree Star! in pink in the first video....... I have a theory that Paige in white is the ghost of future Paige revisiting her last hours on Earth - learning that Ronnie is a vampire, who killed and buried the people the cops are looking for, her cleaning up for him, her committing suicide but being made a vampire and then, knowing Ronnie will die at dawn when he lets the mob take him (because of what he had to do to her "I'm going straight to hell and I'm taking you down with me"), finally Paige choosing to see one last beautiful but fatal dawn herself!.... some Dani Filth in his screams "When you will mortals believe......?" Great reaction and analysis!
Damien, I said David Bowie, when he was in his most infamous and highly well-known stage persona Ziggy Stardust ✨ I know who Jeffree Star is. Still, you know me, Damien......all the other “people” in the rehab were playing caricatures (an exaggerated interpretation of a well-known person.) Wow! Your interpretation is so different than what I thought when watching it. I love your reaction! The woman in the music video is his real life girlfriend Saraya. She used to be a WWE Diva and her stage name was Paige. What I got from the story was that She didn't know he was a vampire at first, but knew he was somehow doing bad things. Than she killed herself when she found out because she couldn't handle it, but he couldn't live without her so he brought her back. Then the villagers come and he let's them take him just to save her so she would live. He knew they wouldn't even think about her if he just came without a fight. I believe her watching everything after she woke up was her remembering everything that happened and how he sacrificed himself for her, but she couldn't live without him either so she just walked on to the balcony and let the sun take her. I love everything you said about the video! You definitely gained a new subscriber!

Don't worry about offending anyone by being real...in fact, I don't get why in the world people get offended at all by someone stating they don't believe in God, Heaven, Hell, and Afterlife, etc. etc. Seems more like insecurity on their part. If they were confident in their beliefs, then they wouldn't care what anyone else believes about something that can neither be known nor disproven.
Personally, I'm agnostic. If there is, there is. If there isn't, there isn't...whatever. lol

I agree with you completely about religion and people's sensitivity to it. I have a poster that says, "Hey, I get it. There are over 6000 religions around the world, all with their own god. But yours is the RIGHT one." lol.

Definitely 2nd one for me though did like the rehab religion revolving door stab of the first video, which makes my take on the line "I'm taking you to hell with me." Is most people that are closest to the addicts go through their own kind of hell right along with them coz the addicts that want help need help so bad the only help is either too expensive or that fake believe in a power greater is gonna purge you of your cravings your reasons why you do whatever and that is all BS to most. Just from listening to his other songs Ronnie too doesn't believe in religion so to me it's not literal Hell its personal state of mind, physical, financial hell.
