Seth did a great job with Ru - he seems to be genuinely listening, interested and emotes a lot of respect and warmth. His demeanour puts us at ease, and I think because of that, Ru was able to share a lot of his journey with us, with ease. Well-done by both - what a treasure this clip is ❤️

He was saying that he wasn't overtly sexual and didn't act so much as a gay man in drag, but just as a glamorous woman. He was explaining that that decision made his persona palletable for anyone, not just people in the drag , gay, or club scene.
Ahhh Ru and his husband are truly meant to be together, and I am so fricken glad they have beat the famous odds of not working out.. they have been together for over TWENTY YEARS!! That is unHEARD OF in the entertainment industry. He deserves thee most out of life ❤️

Seth has to put his funny into such a emotional moment, I guess he can’t help it, it’s the comic in him. Kid has his adorable dimples too. Lol

If Seth looks uncomfortable, I think it's because the audience doesn't seem to get RuPaul. Surprisingly minimal reaction to what he's saying, which is a shame.
Ru Paul NEEDS to do a DragRace style show with the Furry community. They are another group of people who are marginalised by society and told that their world is seedy and sexual when it’s not. Like drag it’s all about freeing your personality and, personal and community empowerment.
Tina Tika if you think about costumes like those that sports mascots wear and like the ones you see in Japan at the Pokemon centres, that gets you thinking in the right direction. There is a growing community who combine cosplaying with the wearing of consumes based on animals and fictional creatures. Within this community it allows those who wear the “fursuits” to project the confidence that they don’t tend to have in their ‘real life’. The character they create and personify while wearing these ‘fursuits’ is called a ‘fursona’.
He's a very smart man and charming as well. I thought he was great on SNL.
