I met Rupaul once, back around 1994, after Supermodel but before his VH-1 talk show. It was at a bar in South Beach, I was a young 20 something gay twink with my little entourage without a care in the world. We were a little star struck over Ru, but Ru made a big fuss over our group of young gays and made us feel like he saw us and we were something.
