- The In the Flesh Tour, also known as "Animals Tour", was a concert tour by the English rock band Pink Floyd in support of their album Animals. It was divided in two legs, one in Europe and another in North America. The tour featured the famous character inflatables puppets, and also featured a pyrotechnic "waterfall" and one of the biggest and most elaborate stages to date, including umbrella-like canopies that would raise from the stage to protect the band from the elements.
Love the dual lead vocals on this. Great atmosphere. Who knew they could hardly stand to be in the same room together?
Maybe they had too much too fast
Or just over played their part
At this point they were still close friends. Prone to disagreement, but friends still. (I'm assuming you mean David and Roger)
Now Roger and Rick were much more antagonistic towards each other and likely no longer considered each other to be good friends, certainly no longer as close as they once were.
saw them in Louisville june;'77, was trippin but still swear they projected the MACIHINE IGUANA THINGY onto the stage like in 3D holograph form and GILMORE stretched out a chicken scratch solo it blew me and my friends minds and we screamed with joy, 63 now and still remember
That's the official video of this song, you can search on here on UA-cam
Louisville here, I barely missed this one, but heard friends talk about it. I didn’t start going to concerts until shortly after this. I didn’t get another chance to see them until the MLOR tour. Good, but not the original lineup I wanted to see!!
Crowd is pumped!
