I’m so happy to hear you hype The Bronx! I’m born and raised here, and it’s so frustrating when people dog it, not ever having been here long enough to see all it has to offer. Granted, there are drawbacks, but there’s lots of options, as well. I enjoyed taking “taking a peak”, into your apartment, and life. I subscribed, and I wish you much success!

You have great taste in the decor dept! Most people's apts in NYC are small. They just need to work with the space they got. My apt was recently renovated so now i have a bigger bathroom and hallway area, but now my closets and bedroom are smaller, lol. You should checkout the town of Cold Spring located just north of NYC near the border between Putnam & Dutchess counties accessible by Metro North railroad. Beautiful scenic views, a town worth moving into if you like to remain within reach of NYC. Highly recommend it on a beautiful day!

Great job. I love the lights. I use alot of battery operated lights to save money and i love how they look. Kudos for the cleanliness n organization, ive seen so many nightmare apts here in nyc🤢

Frame Idea: First, great apartment! If you want a nice frame for your melanin poster try the thrift store! Maybe near where ever you live or the UWS or UES! I’ve gotten 3 really nice frames for $10-$15!!
OMG! I thought I was the only one who liked to sit in showers to just chill and relax. I used to even fall asleep sometimes. My mother used to be so pissed lol.

I was born and raised in NYC. Left when I joined the military and never moved back. Once I got a feel of what it was like to live elsewhere moving back home never seemed like an option. One of husbands friends came from Nigeria and had been living in NYC for 17 years. He recently moved to Texas and said that if he knew how it was be would've moved a long time ago.

Yes, Street Easy and City Realty are great resources for looking up information about apartments. Yes, your little will miss you every day when you leave!! New York is New York and I do like it there as well. I have family there and I have lived there back in the 1970s and since then I have gone back many times there.

NIce apartment! For NYC that rent is reasonable. Handsome dog. For Spock, maybe you can get a baby monitor/camera to check in during the day. They have them cheap on Amazon.
This is a nice apartment! It may have been converted from a studio to a one bedroom. That would explain why there's no window in the bedroom. I'm glad you were able to find an apartment that accepts large dogs. I am a Bronx native! The Bronx has HUGE apartments for much less than the other boroughs. Many Bronx residents have been in the same neighborhoods for over 40 years.

Your apartment looks great! It is too bad that there does not appear to be a window in your bathroom because a window in the bathroom is helpful as it allows fresh air to circulate and prevent mold and mildew building up.
The sleeper sofa that you have looks perfect as it's comfortable for you to sit, entertain and it's comfortable and easily converts to a bed for guests who come to visit you in New York city.
It is not such a bad thing to have a gas stove. I guess stove allows you to easily control the temperature and it appears to bake and broil better and also it's cheaper than an electric stove that uses a lot of electricity and sends your electric bill soaring.
It's great to hear that you have very kind and supportive neighbors that have your back and what you said about being polite and friendly and helpful and not sick in your nose where belongs is very sensible and good advice whether it's the Bronx, NYC or virtually any neighborhood for that matter. Thank you for the tour and hopefully you'll be happy in your apartment and your dog is very cute 👍
