Can't wait. I'm slapping a tarp and some food on my T7 this afternoon to go across Canada. I just got word that my dad passed away yesterday, so I have 4 days to go 4500km to say goodbye to the old fella. All pavement, boring as hell but not the first time I've done it. Hotels and airplanes not an option this time so... soldier on. 👍
I'd love to see a ride with Adam, Rodney, Chris Birch and Lyndon Poskitt railing across Australia. Great riders, top shelf mechanics, humble but assertive outlook. And amazing ambassadors of the sport.
I just find it amazing how you can carelessly ride without crashbars and luggage racks to protect the exhaust, personally i just can’t afford to lay ‘er down but i’d love to have less weight on her. Must be the perks of years of experience in the saddle and sponsors. Hope one day i’ll be half as good as you are. I missed the whole summer because of a shattered collar bone, random guy didn’t give me right of way. I’m sad about my first bike, she’s a bit crooked now, but still going (cause of the crashbars and racks) But thanks to insurance i’m close to buying my dream bike. Can’t wait to rewatch all your T7 videos when that happens. Hands down the best adventure channel on UA-cam and the reason why i picked up motorcycling in the first place!
I am not an adventure bike fella but I have an MT07 with a full titanium Akra system on mine, and anyone who hasn't heard the CP2 in person should know that you'll never get the full sound experience like you would in person These engine bark so hard 👌
Thanks, Adam! I’m happy that you’ve been sprinkling in some of your life’s philosophy about adventure and why we do these things. I love the outdoors and appreciate all of God’s gifts; the mountains, earth, animals…and riding motorcycles gives me the ability to enjoy more of those things than I ever could do on foot. Adventure, and sucking the marrow out of life is what it’s all about! ✌️🙏
You got me into this bike. I now own a 24 T7. Can't thank you enough for all the tips in the other videos. It has helped me grow confidence! Getting ready for my first long-distance moto trip at the end of August. So stoked! Its hot as hell here in Arizona and I don't care I still ride every day.. 600 miles in 6 days.. long commute LOL. Anyways you're a badass dude and I love your content!
I hope that my T7 appreciates the relaxed and easy life it has ! It is constantly fed on the best sustenance, the best lubricants, the best shoes, but I also wish I could work it like you do Adam. Great video, again, and looking forward to the trip video.
Seems to me the T7, with you’re mods is with out doubt the best ADV. It’s obvious you like it and I think you’re the best to know. Yamaha should be employing you.
@MotologyFilms Good day Adam, I recently bought myself the big dog and am desperate to upgrade the exhaust system. I would love to know where you bought your titanium headers from. I can't seem to find any. Could you please help me out? 😅
I did the spring upgrades after you suggested it on the Darkhorse 2.0. I can't believe the difference! I'm fairly new to off-road riding but my confidence went up exponentially after those mods.
I love your work man keep the vids coming enjoy watching these vids on my lunch break at work gives me motivation to ride my bike on my own ❤thanks Adam
Makes me want to buy a T7 just so I can support the projects through the gear you build for them. Learned so much and I’ve applied a lot of it to my CRF1000L AT and it’s made a world of difference. Can’t wait to se more of this adventure.
I cant wait to watch your new adventure ill have something to watch while fixing my africa twin as i had an accident in the city whn i got back from 2k road trip on greek mountains thank you for being there to inspire more people to just do it!!
Losing 12 kg on the World Raid is quite a bit, without sacrificing comfort. And pimping it up to withstand your speed. Looking forward to your ride. Your videos are outstanding, Günter/Nürnberg
Before you go too far into the bush pull the paper standard air filter and bin it, they dont stop really fine dust, teneres come with a foam filter that is much better. Had far too many bikes come into alice still with the paper filter in and always have dust past the filter, can recommend using pre filter aswell they make a mess but they help.
Adam, Love your take on what an adventure bike should be. Definitely not everyone's idea and I'm sure some just hate you for being so frank, especially about luggage 😂 My 890r has been slowly stripped back over the past two years, sat at 174kg on the scales last week (all fluids no fuel) Luggage is low and forwards and I've got that down to 13kg. 187kg with luggage ready for fuel, 9kg under the dry weight of a stocker 😎 super light with proper tyres on and heavily modded suspension, going back to ride a stocker they feel like one of the big Rihno 1250's 😮 Its "my" 890 now, no need for the lastest offerings from the factory just to have to do it all again. Keep the vids coming 🤙
Perfect set up mate, most will never understand. The Motonomad 500EXCs I set up were the same concept but lighter again ... you could ride them at Rally pace all day, then set up camp and be comfortable, cook etc.
@@MotologyFilmsyour early vids on the 500 almost had me back into a big single after some time away from dirt bikes, awesome stuff mate. I raced 125 from 15 into my 20's, MX/enduro - love em, pinned, heavy clutch work and keep em signing. Cant beat hunting down a big bike when you have superior corner speed 😎. I'd take one of the new 150's and happily throw some bags on and go off on that. Later I went with the newage and the first thumper YZ's with the Genesis heads, for the day they were super smooth (not like the big Husky and the Rotax lumps). It took some time, but big parallel twin motor has really grown on me and at the current weight personally for me it's ended up a balance between a super light 500. No getting away from the fact the motors are wide, but it is what it is. Depending on what gearing I stick on it, it has the legs to be stupid quick on the black stuff or drop it - (2 down, 3 up) and ride it like a five speed with a crawler first gear. With that gearing it truly does feel.like big enduro bike, but maxes out short of a Ton on the black stuff
I just rode my Aprilia Tuareg 11,000 kms from Texas to Ontario then across Eastern Canada and back home. Prep was new tires, oil and filter change. It worked perfectly.
Adam, it’s a real joy to get a new video and catch up with what’s happening way over there with you. Hoping you’ll still come visit and ride with us over here 🇺🇸 in the near future. Cheers to you and your family fine sir! 💪🏽 🙏🏽 🏍️💨

Get it sorted Adam otherwise he's going to regret it. Remember the golden rule, make sure everything is right before setting off. Good luck, can't wait for this one.
I've owned a 1290 SA S 2018 since new, which I like to take my misses out on trips with me on. But the more I see the T7, the more I want to get into off-road riding. You're truly an inspirational person and a pleasure to watch your stories. I need to decide if I want to dump my KTM (which has been my dream bike for years), convert it to off-road riding, sell it and get a T7, or keep it for road use, and get a T7 for off-road use! Too many choice. Too little money haha! Love your vids. All the best.
I envy you, colleague! Here in Hungary, we push it very poorly. I am an agricultural machine mechanic and agricultural horticultural engineer, I work on tractors and parks at the university here. I plow, sow, plant, remove bushes and trees. The salary here is so miserably small that my T7 engine, bought new in 2022, has only driven 2,900 km so far. I just couldn't get enough gas in it. It got moldy. Yes. I was also able to buy the motorcycle because our mother died and left me a small sum for a motorcycle. Yes. Now I'm going to try the neighboring country, Austria, where I'm going to take on a job as a water-gas heating engineer. If I'm lucky, I'll buy a big piece of land myself, farm it and ride an off-road motorcycle. Our daughter is now 22 years old, she also started riding off-road motorcycles two years ago, but she outgrew her Chinese motorcycle and sold it, but she can't buy another one because she doesn't have a job. Well, congratulations on your channel. I hope that in a year we will already be living and working in Austria and will have a swimming pool and an off-road motorcycle. I think you're a lucky guy. Congratulations! Have a nice day!
