Always sends chills down my back hearing an evacuation order
It's always chilling to hear evacuation tones.
When your house is on fire the last thing you want to hear are air horns.
Didn't know fire trucks had a horn button on the side of the truck
Thank you, you reminded me, and I had to check, our quint has a horn button, our engine does not. It’s so the pump operator can very easily hit the horns from his post, as opposed to either having to leave the panel, or finding another guy to hit them from the cab.
4:38 starts a nice smoke tornado. The smoke from the third floor venting getting sucked back into the fire from the second floor.
Yeah, when you’ve smoke puffing and sucking, you’re fucked.
THAT LADDER TRUCKK SHOULD HAVE BEEN CORRDTLY PARKED IN THE FIRST PLACE.THE LADDER SHOULD HAVE BEEN PUT TO USE IN THE FIRST STAGE OF ARRIVAL

Why dont they just spray water into the 2 gaping windows with fire coming out

Matthew Eddows if you spray water into an occupied engulfed building it creates steam, the SCBA( breathing apparatus) is what we use against smoke, flames don’t harm us as bad as people think but the moment steam is introduced it ensures death
That’s how you cook every firefighter in that building alive. You evacuate first, ensure everyone is out and then drown it
1. It can cause a flashover and blow people inside to kingdom come
2. It will cook everyone inside from the steam.
