- Author Douglas Murray has joined Sky News host Rita Panahi to discuss the fall of the West, civilisational decline, the rematch between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, and elitism.
Mr Murray is currently on his ‘Uncomfortable Conversations’ tour in Australia.
Ms Panahi said Mr Murray is “among the most principled and courageous writers and thinkers in the world today".
“[He has] a moral clarity and command of language that is unmatched," she said.
Mr Murray’s latest publication is ‘The War on the West’ - a New York Times Bestseller that discusses how many well-meaning people have been fooled by hypocritical and inconsistent anti-West rhetoric.

Great to get a conversation in a relaxed long-form format that isn't rushed. I can't stand 3 minute interviews with the presenter cutting off the guest and saying "we've run out of time".

I was lucky enough to see and view Douglas Murray in Sydney Sunday evening. He was brilliant. I was glad I was able to hear him speak. After protests in Sydney University and hearing those outside the Enmore theatre.... who knows how long our freedom of speech will last?????

As it is, you can wave goodbye to the west unless the people rise up and say 'That's enough!' I'm too old and too disabled to fight, now, but if I was still a kid I'd be out there. Here in the uk I as retired English female with a family tree dating back to the 17th century, I now no longer feel welcome in Britain. I am told the countryside is too white so as a white female I am no longer feel welcome there. The National Trust and English heritage tell me to be ashamed of my white privileged so again I have left these two organisations that I supported for many years because I am not welcome. It's such a breathe of fresh air to listen to these two. Knowing there are people in the world and in the media that have their heads screwed on straight. They have their own beliefs and stick by them. They are not selling their souls to push the twisted agenda. Pretty much every mainstream news outlet in North America is the exact opposite of this. Fear fear fear, white shaming, virtue signalling garbage. They don't report without bias, it's like they're telling us to be a certain way and only think what they want us to. Your job is to report the news. That's it. Not push the bizarre narrative that has infected the west. Trying to beat down the strong hardworking people that care about it and replace them with woke zombies and hordes of immigrants that will vote to the beat of their drum. It's a battle for the kind of life we hold dear so I totally respect these two and saying what has to be said.
