You know Lincoln won as a first time Republican because the Whig party essentially died and the Democrats were splintered because of the issue of slavery. The Republicans were guilty of this too before but Americans didn’t make Donald rich but our banking system ensured that people born into money have a really good chance of keeping their money even IF they make bad business decisions. That is why Democracy in our Democratic Republic got compromised and the rich don’t want to fix it because it gives them an advantage and why only rich people are the chosen leaders. Americans groomed it this way and everybody knows it. You have to spend money to be educated as a lawyer.
